Hahaha.... I can relate!
Can you also relate a student life, especially being a student in Nigeria?
It's extremely stressful!

I'm only chanced to record songs in the night now.... All thanks to my ring Light that helps at night!

About my hmf week two round two, I've submitted my entry since yesterday or a day before!

I'm also glad that your cover request is going on well too..
What time is it there in SA?

Sort:

My student days are over! I cannot imagine being a student anymore, especially in Nigeria! Actually I think I would struggle being a student even here. I have a friend who is a Sports Science lecturer at a local university and she says today's University students don't seem to know how to debate, and it seems like they are too scared to challenge and potentially offend each other, which I find sad.

What are you studying?

It's 10:45 and I'm actually working in the office of my Renewable Energy Development Company today! I work from home some days and from the office other days. The weather is perfect with blue skies, sigh! haha!

I guess your time is faster than Nigerian time.
You are a big man oo..🥺😓🤲
Working from home.... When will I be like you sir?😊

I've been thinking about doing a post where I share some traditional Zulu music videos and then tackle covering one as best I can. Could you do something similar for Nigeria (Yoruba?) with a translation for what you are singing?

Do they make kas-kas / kashakas in Nigeria as well? I hope to try make and learn those when I can!

What is kashakas?...

It is a West African percussion instrument, but I think more from Ghana. It is basically two shakers attached together by string like nunchucks!

Let this guy demonstrate nicely...

And then let this guy show how complicated it can get when you do different things with either hand!

Oh my goodness... That's really great.
It's created a complete beat.
Like for real🥺🤲❤️
