For this week’s open mic on the theme "Rumors" I’ll be doing the song "How long" which is originally done by "Lionel Richie" one of my favorite 80s artists.
The song is a soulful ballad that speaks to the pain and longing that follows a breakup. sometimes we hold on to people after a breakup because at that moment we believe we can never find love again and because we can’t handle the pain so we hold unto the love to ease the pain, the song suggests finding strength to let go and moving forward cause that’s the best way to go.
