Greetings to you all my beloved friends, How are you doing. I hope you are having a very interesting weekend. I on the other hand am trying to have some chill time and enjoy some music. This week we have a very interesting theme—Rumors. I say interesting because rumors, most times, appear to be a bad thing, but today, I wish to present rumors in a good light.

Saludos a todos mis queridos amigos, ¿cómo están? Espero que estén pasando un fin de semana muy interesante. Por mi parte, estoy intentando relajarme un poco y disfrutar de algo de música. Esta semana tenemos un tema muy interesante—los rumores. Digo interesante porque la mayoría de las veces, los rumores parecen ser algo malo, pero hoy, quiero presentarlos bajo una luz positiva.

When we think of rumors, it’s usually about things whispered in uncertainty, stories shared with a bit of negativity hanging over them. But sometimes, rumors aren’t just about confusion or fear or negativity—they can be about hope, good news, something bigger than what we expected. To give a vivid example, the message of Christ’s resurrection was spread somehow like a rumor.

Cuando pensamos en rumores, normalmente se trata de cosas susurradas con incertidumbre, historias compartidas con un toque de negatividad. Pero a veces, los rumores no son solo sobre confusión, miedo o negatividad; pueden ser sobre esperanza, buenas noticias, algo más grande de lo que esperábamos. Para dar un ejemplo claro, el mensaje de la resurrección de Cristo se difundió de alguna manera como un rumor.

Take the road to Emmaus, for example. The disciples were walking, weighed down by everything they’d seen, not really sure what to believe anymore. Then something happened on that road, something they didn’t recognize right away. It’s almost like they were caught in a rumor—a positive one. They shared what happened on the way, and it wasn’t just any story. It was how they came to recognize Jesus when He broke the bread. In that small moment, what seemed uncertain became real, something they couldn’t keep to themselves.

Tomemos el camino a Emaús como ejemplo. Los discípulos caminaban, cargados por todo lo que habían visto, sin estar seguros de qué creer. Luego, algo sucedió en ese camino, algo que no reconocieron de inmediato. Es casi como si se hubieran encontrado con un rumor, uno positivo. Compartieron lo que sucedió en el camino, y no fue cualquier historia. Fue cómo llegaron a reconocer a Jesús cuando Él partió el pan. En ese pequeño momento, lo que parecía incierto se hizo real, algo que no podían guardar para sí mismos.

So in response to this theme, I will present a beautiful song, titled “Contaron lo que les había pasado en el camino.” This song echoes that journey. The disciples could’ve let doubt keep them quiet, but instead, they shared what they’d seen and felt. The same way rumors spread, but this time, for something good.

Así que, en respuesta a este tema, voy a presentar una hermosa canción, titulada “Contaron lo que les había pasado en el camino”. Esta canción refleja ese viaje. Los discípulos podrían haber dejado que la duda los mantuviera callados, pero en cambio, compartieron lo que habían visto y sentido. De la misma manera en que los rumores se propagan, pero esta vez, para algo bueno.
