Hello, my very dear Hive Open Mic community. In this week 133, following the suggestion of our recent Spotlight Artist @sekani, we are joined by the theme "Opportunity" . While I try to find someone who knows how to fix my accordion, I'm taking small steps with the Venezuelan Cuatro and the Guitar. Today I bring you the song "Chubasco Llanero" (Plains Downpour), in which a lady remembers sadly and tells how her first meeting with the person she came to love was: galloping on horseback in the plain under a sudden downpour (Un chubasco llanero). She relates how she felt jealous of the raindrops that slid down the plainsman's neck. Reading between the lines from this detail, we can imagine that she is a celopath, that perhaps it was the sick jealousy that made their relationship not last, thus losing the opportunity to make their love a reality. Now she only has nostalgia, longing and sadness. And it is that the opportunities that life presents us, in love and in all circumstances, we must take care of them, treasure them, so that they are not lost since it is very rare to see that an opportunity is repeated.
