RE: Hive Open Mic Week #176 (Gratitude) - A Mucha Honra/ Gaita Zuliana (SPA/ENG) By@kococuatro

blessings brother thank you for appreciating my humble work, always being hand in hand with the one above for showing my musical genre to the world.
.
1 - This musical instrument is autochthonous of Venezuela and is called cuatro, it is the number 4 but in Spanish; its most used technique is the charrasqueo that is used to accompany the Venezuelan musical genres; today the cuatro is universal and can play any music.
.
2 - The musical genre that I interpret in the video is the gaita zuliana, a musical genre which tells the life of the zuliano and Venezuelans; it touches topics such as poverty, corruption, devotion to god, happiness, the feelings of the people, among other topics that reflect our daily life, I hope you like it, the most important exponents are:
Cardenales del exito
conjunto saladillo de RQ
Maragaita
Gaiteros de Pillopo
Koquimba
Alitasia
Los Chiquinquireños
Gaitero Song
La Trova Gaitero
Birimbao
Gran Coquivacoa
Among others.......

Wow, this is excellent, thank you! The genre sounds about perfect as you described it! It is these same qualities that drew me to learn to play Quena like Uña Ramos - traditional Andean flute music similarly speaks to the hopes, dreams, sufferings and faith of a proud and beautiful nation! Thank you for this sincere and detailed response my friend!
