Hello hive openmic family, Happy new year to you all.
I m glad we all have this opportunity of another year to share our convictions about different topics in music forms as we
do here weekly.
All you plan to achieve this year will come to you.
This week's theme was chosen by my good friend and brother @fernanblog, meeting him on hive was the game changer, his talent, career, engagement and words of encouragement goes far to help me realize what it means to be here.

I m glad we have this beautiful theme to sing on this week too "Motivation to achieve". We all have different places where we draw strength from to break through inertia and use time and moments well. We are deemed to achieve a lot when we are motivated. It builds that momentum to run full speed in the right direction.

You won't believe @draysax and I were thinking of the same song.. I had already planned to do I believe I can fly by R. Kelly until the last minute when I finally found the choice I made.
I couldn't agree more that that song was it for my generation when it comes to motivation.

However, more to it for me is the God factor.

The bible says in Prov 3:5.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path.

So I chose to do a song by Cody Carne's which was recently featured by Maverick City. Firm foundation .. (He won't)

Wow.. It brought back a lot to thank God for and so much to thank him in advance.

He make us walk upon our high places
And I am so grateful and hopeful for the things I ll achieve and this songs help me walk in that reality.

Production

Well, I m glad to be back this year producing, but I keep exploring new ways of making my sounds better, I m sure you all can see my progress, this time I trying out my phantom mic, it picks so much sound and the white noise seem to clear out as the voice comes it.
I chose to leave it that way for the ambience lol. . I hope to begin going outside to sing soon like @edprivat does ones in a while lol. I hope by then some noise gate and probably a better device can help. Notice my last view at the end of the video, I ll love to sing in the sunset soon.
