For my first post in Hive Open Mic Week 236, I chose to perform the song Alone. In terms of vocal delivery, I focused on conveying the intimate and haunting mood of the song. The melody has a gentle yet powerful flow, and I tried to match that with a controlled, emotional tone. I paid close attention to the dynamics of the performance, starting soft and reflective, then building intensity as the song progressed to mirror the emotional journey of feeling isolated but finding inner strength. I believe this song required a deep emotional commitment, and I poured myself into each note and phrase.
This is my debut in the Hive Open Mic Week 236, and I wanted to choose a song that reflected a piece of who I am as an artist. Alone resonated with me not just because of its powerful message but also because of the space it creates for reflection and understanding. Being part of the Web3 space has given me the chance to express myself creatively, and I’m grateful for this platform to connect with fellow musicians and audiences who share a passion for music.
