Hive Open Mic Week 156 | Sin ti no soy nada (Cover) by Eugelys | Esp-Eng

¡Y pensé que no lo lograría! Pero aquí estoy, una nueva semana en el Hive Open Mic que me pone a pensar sobre qué canción seleccionar. Esta semana el tema es: Hasta el extremo, y como les comentaba en mi publicación de esta semana para el Three Tunes Tuesday al cavilar bastante sobre qué me transmitía esa frase, seleccioné tres canciones que hablan sobre rupturas amorosas, de estas tres canciones seleccioné una para compartir el día de hoy ¡Justo a tiempo!

Lleva por nombre Sin ti no soy nada y expresa la imposibilidad de ser alguien cuando se ha perdido a una persona que consideramos importante en nuestra vida, es una canción triste porque pensar que alguien pueda sentirse así es muy aterrador. Mientras cantaba la canción entré en el personaje y les puedo asegurar que fueron emociones fuertes las que pasé, de hecho cuando vi el video me sorprendí de algunos gestos que fueron naciendo mientras iba cantando.

También sentí que le di un toque español sin haberla practicado de esa forma, hasta mis manos danzaron de vez en cuando. Me emocionan todas las cosas que pasan mientras canto, cuando me dejo llevar y si bien la técnica puede sufrir un poco se siente tan bien perderse en la canción, pues sea alegre o feliz, termino completamente renovada.

And I thought I wouldn't make it! But here I am, a new week at the Hive Open Mic that gets me thinking about which song to select. This week the theme is: To the end, and as I mentioned in my post for this week's Three Tunes Tuesday when I was thinking about what that phrase conveyed to me, I selected three songs that talk about love breakups, from these three songs I selected one to share today, just in time!

It's called Without you I'm nothing and it expresses the impossibility of being someone when we have lost a person we consider important in our life, it's a sad song because the thought that someone could feel like that is very scary. While singing the song I got into character and I can assure you that I went through strong emotions, in fact when I watched the video I was surprised by some of the gestures that were born while I was singing.

I also felt that I gave it a Spanish touch without having practiced it that way, even my hands danced from time to time. I get excited by all the things that happen while I sing, when I let myself go and although the technique can suffer a bit, it feels so good to get lost in the song, whether I'm happy or joyful, I end up completely renewed.

Sepan que jamás deben sentirse como la nada, pues nosotros mismos nos damos valía, las pérdidas están para hacernos más fuertes, son un combustible que nos convierte en Ave Fénix, renaciendo de nuestras cenizas. Creo que siempre podemos florecer, como les comenté en un post anterior, basta guardar buenos valores en nuestros ser que nos permitan renacer una y otra vez.

Cuídense mucho, sean honestos con los demás y con ustedes mismos, no olviden la creatividad para darle un toque de novedad al día a día, valoren el trabajo de otros así como les gusta ser reconocidos, vivan con muchas ganas de madurar y ser sabios.

Know that you should never feel like nothingness, for we give ourselves worth, losses are there to make us stronger, they are a fuel that turns us into a phoenix, rising from our ashes. I believe that we can always flourish, as I mentioned in a previous post, it is enough to keep good values in our being that allow us to be reborn again and again.

Take care of yourselves, be honest with others and with yourselves, don't forget the creativity to give a touch of novelty to the day to day, value the work of others as much as you like to be recognised, live with a lot of desire to mature and be wise.
