Quién iba a pensar, que en el primer festival del ídolo estudiantil, en el año 2008, realizado en el Teatro Luis Mariano Rivera: vendría desde cumanacoa el joven Jonathan David calderon, de apenas 20 años, a iniciar el talento que Dios le había dado, quedando entre los 15 seleccionados, de un total de 150 participantes y así se dió a conocer.

Who would have thought that at the first student idol festival, in 2008, held at the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater: the young Jonathan David Calderon, barely 20 years old, would come from Cumanacoa to initiate the talent that God had given him given, remaining among the 15 selected, out of a total of 150 participants and thus it was made known.

Él relata textualmente: "Yó siempre he admirado a la gente que canta, pero fue cuando di el paso de hacerlo y verme en el festival, lo que me impresionó y marcó mi vida para siempre, es decir al escucharme y ver la receptividad, el primer asombrado fuí yo mismo".

He relates verbatim: "I have always admired people who sing, but it was when I took the step of doing it and seeing myself at the festival, which impressed me and marked my life forever, that is, when listening to me and seeing the receptivity, the I was the first astonished ".

Como estudiante universitario, empezó a incursionar en la coral de la UPTOS Universidad Politécnica Territorial del Oeste de Sucre, y allí se dio la gran función, el grandioso encuentro entre dos almas, que andaban en la búsqueda de lo que sería su pasión por la vida, y a su vez el deleite y estremecimiento de todas las personas que logran escucharlos cantar; la otra parte de la fusión o complemento, es el joven Eduardo Villalba, nacido en Cumaná de 26 años de edad; el acota que estudiando en la universidad y sin saber nada de música, se dejó llevar por su hermano Carlos Villalba "músico" quien lo instruyó y llego a ser su primer maestro, conjuntamente con el profesor muy respetado sr. Rafael Sequera.

Una vez que estos dos jóvenes se conocen, uno admiraba al otro por este mas preparado. Sin embargo, cuando empezaron a cantar juntos un tema del famoso grupo "Sin Bandera", se dió la gran armonía del feeling musical, y el universo atrapó el talento que Dios había puesto en sus corazones y dejaron plasmar a través de sus voces, las baladas de grupos conocidos y de autoría propia.

Once these two young men met, one admired the other for this more prepared. However, when they began to sing together a song by the famous group "Sin Bandera", the great harmony of the musical feeling occurred, and the universe caught the talent that God had placed in their hearts and allowed to express through their voices, the ballads of well-known groups and of their own responsibility.
