You should play the violin then! I love the violin, but it's probably not the easiest to play and if you want to sing, then a guitar or keyboard or similar to accompany you might be better.
I too play a violin, but rarely, because it needs other people to join me which are not always available. haha

Yes, the violin seems really hard but I just love it and if I'm going to learn how to play then I won't sing too much but that of course is going to take some really good time.
