Introducing Myself To Hive Naija

Hello Naija

I am really happy to be introducing myself to this wonderful Hive Naija Community. Haven read quite a lot of some of our post here, l am happy with the level of interaction and love going on here guys. Let's get to business of the day.

I remain my humble self Kalu Chima from Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.I finished from Michael okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike with B.Sc in Microbiology. Coming to blockchain, l am known by my crypto blogging ID mr-sarriball especially in scorum.com. l guess you not many of you must have heard about @scorum.com ; a sports blogging blockchain just like Hive. Why Mr-Sarri?. It was a name of choice when registering first on scorum due to the game style of former Chelsea Italian manager Maurizio Sarri. I heard about Hive almost 2 years ago when l registered but unfortunately l lost my login key. So, I tried everything possible to get back my key but something was wrong somewhere. The key l used all of a sudden started showing error messages. Even after contacting the admin, I could not be helped..With that frustration and other schedules, l lost interest in Hive out of anger. E pain me.

How l discovered the Hive Naija

However, some few days ago after posting my blog in scorum, one of my buddy @Batman pasted link to The Chess Community mainly about chess tournament in Hive. It caught my interest and l decided to join.

About myself

I'm the first son of 3 boys of my parents. As funny as it may sound my mother didn't give birth to a female child even though I would have love to have a sister but nobody can question the creator. On the average, you relatively say l am a girl going by the number of house chores l can do. Oh ya, l do them effortlessly. I'm my mammy girl. Lol. Anyways, currently l am completing my master degree in environmental microbiology. Yes, I love microorganisms and the laboratory environmental especially the beautiful view under the microscope or in the petri dish. I'm a scientist that love everything science especially when it's regards to our environment. I'm an environmentalist.

Right from my childhood, my hobbies have continued to change with age and time. While growing up, l loved my drawing class and l drew a whole lot especially from the the Bible story book. Do children still use that book? My best drawing that was perfect that got tongue waggling was Samson and the Lion. What a lovely piece of art. On some days just like an average naija boy, l enjoy playing street soccer (monkey post) with my friends and up till today, football remains one of my favourite hobbies aside playing chess and scrabble.

Here in Nigeria, a lot of fans are Chelsea supporters and l was influenced to support the club when the likes of Drogba, Michael Essien and Mikel Obi were there especially in 2007 as a club supporter.

I remain a die heart fan and enjoy the rivalry with Man United fans as well as Arsenal fans too. I love watching WWE some of the times as it brings back childhood memories because it was one of the childhood entertainment show. Those days with black and white video, we travel to nearby stree to watch from the windows. Oh boy! How time flys. I love cooking as well, oh yea. I told you my mum never had a female child and yes, as the first son, there is barely any house chores l can't do. Reading and research top my list.

I am an avid follower seasonal movies. Top of my list I can say are Game of Thrones, Legend of the seeker, Merlin, Honey Heist and Squid Game of recent.

As an introvert, l enjoy my private time mediating on several things.

Conclusion

Something is telling me l will enjoy my time here. So, l am looking forward to spending quality time on hive blockchain by posting quality content especially football contents, life style and about chess. Most important, l look forward to connecting with a lot of us and like l have seen some hook ups already on Hive naija, l will get to meet some of us some day.

As a newbie, l didn't have mentor to put me through as l continue to find my way here. My special thanks goes to @bhoa whom l read his post about helping newbie achieve a rating. I search for him on discord with his ID because l was unable to comment due to no HP. He chatted up immediately, added me to WhatsApp group where I told me l can't comment. He delegates power HP to me. I'm so grateful sir. However, l can't do all of these without your support here. I wish l names have to mention.
