RE: Religious Sentiments and Politics in Nigeria

in Speak Peace2 years ago

Well.. it shows we are back in time. And it's not our fault. We totally believe something that was introduced to us is always greater than what we have. It doesn't matter who the president is. When the bible speaks of someone righteous leading, he wasn't speaking of a religion, righteousness as of the heart, as Christ was not yet given then to be our righteousness.

Pro 29:2 KJV When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

It was a cut between being righteous and wicked, not Tribalistic Religiosity.

Like you said, we aren't there yet. And when process is unduly skipped, some kind of harm is almost inevitable.

And even if there may be exceptions, it should apply to those with minimal distrust not those who are seen as major culprits to the problem we seek a solution to.

You are very sound bro, and rightly so we need to fill in a file before we get there. This file has been long overdue. This folks will have no joy or peace in their later days I pray, They ll live long enough to feel the wrath of posterit judging them.
