It saddened my heart to see a country as blessed as Nigeria going through such epidemic of suffering ranging from; our economy, which nosedives as a plane that has almost lost control and is about to crash, unprecedented economic hardship and suffering has befallen the nation.The standard of living has continued to drop on daily basis while the cost of living is at an all-time high. The health care sector is nothing to write home about, our educational system has been demolished and to crown it all; Insecurity is at it's peak, recently some innocent worshippers were massacred in the church in owo, Ondo state. I pray Almighty God heal this country and ease their families grieve.
How do we solve this problems?
Solidified border security: Government must face the immediate challenge on borders. The government should make effective efforts to recruit, train and deploy trustworthy, adequate and equipped customs and immigration personnel across borders. The government should invest in more effective security technologies, that will benefit border security.These technologies should include body cameras, smart license plate readers, smart vehicle underbody scanners, and more.
Secondly we develop our economic system: The country’s economic productivity and opportunities for its citizens should be improved. The challenge of insecurity in Nigeria can be solved by accelerating development in our country. This development process is about creating an economy with societal relevance, an economic with physical infrastructure for business activity and industrial growth, in order to create employment, high-quality educational facilities and health care for the people.
Furthermore, we need to improve our Human and Infrastructural Development: We need to capitalize on demographic dividends by investing in health, Agriculture, education and livelihoods, especially for the youth. There is urgent need to draw a national development plan which require the three levels of government.
Conclusively, The weakness of our judicial system creates uncertainty in Nigeria. Nigerians feel insecure when criminals are released. Many criminals have bought their freedom with money in the country, the legal system has abandoned its people and released all kinds of atrocities, and this has to stop in order to build a nation where criminals will fear the wrath of law and citizens will be rest assured that their judicial system is working and working perfectly.
