Hi everyone. Not long ago I tried to give out a prize for typing by rewarding someone who can type faster than me. Unfortunately it is very hard to beat me in typing as I can type A to Z in under 2 seconds.
大家好。不久前我想要發獎勵給一個打字比我快的人。但Hive上似乎沒這個人。因為我打英文字從A打到Z不到兩秒，所以能打得比我快的不多。
However I really want to reward people for trying to beat me so I am going to come up with a different system.
但是我真的很想要看其他人也開始練打字，試著打得比我快。所以我想到了另一個辦法。
Firstly, if you don't know about Nitrotype, this is a typing racing website, and it provides me with the easiest way for me to verify your typing speed, because they give you a public profile with an average WPM.
首先，如果您不知道Nitrotype這個網站，這是一個用來比賽打字的網站，而且他們會給你設一個各人打字資料公眾網址，所以每個人都可以看到你的打字速度。
With the help of Nitrotype I am going to create Hive Typing Ladder. The rules are as follows:
Comment your Nitrotype public profile URL in this article to be part of it. Please include the word Hive in your display name. This is my public profile: https://www.nitrotype.com/racer/eddiethemagicmonk
If you don't know how to get your own, read this article.Your average words per minute will be used in the ranking. You must have completed at least 10 races to be part of the ranking.
To start off, I will give out prizes to the top three on the list. Number 1 will get 30 HIVE, Number 2 will get 20 Hive and number 3 will get 10 Hive. If I am number 1, then prizes will be given to number 2 and 3 only (20 and 10 Hive respectively).

如果要上榜必須至少要在Nitrotype上比賽十次。第幾名是用平均打字速度來決定。
在看到這個排行榜後，我會發給前三名獎勵。第一名將拿到30Hive, 第二名20Hive, 第三名10 Hive。如果我是第一名，那麼只有第二名跟第三名會有獎勵 (20 Hive以及10Hive)。

Not sure if because my computer is very old and sometimes lags on website...but when I type the next letter in a race too fast and it doesn't count... I have to make a good typing flow... or just need practice with those races :)

edit: ahhh yes my computer just freezes for a while when website is loading ads and heavier effects... in one of the races i wasn't able to type for almost 3 seconds :|
my pc has only 2gb of RAM (i closed all other tabs and apps)
anyway this racing game is a lot of fun! ;)

Thanks! Sadly, I have a lot of poor typing habits. My right hands floats around a lot when I type which slows me down!
Too many instructions for me to partake, but I did the typing test for fun, whilst lying on my side:

I've never gotten near your score really though X(
you've only done 3 races. You just need to do 7 more and you can partake! It's the Average WPM that will go on the ladder, not the top speed from one single race :)
Ah then I messed up by starting off so lazily lying on my side lol, messed up my average forever. I'm tempted to get my mechanical board out... maybe =)
