早在11月時,我就聽說今年統一集團的年度盛事是,打算聯袂統一集團各大通路呈現英倫風的耶誕氛圍,該集團的年度活動「愛.Sharing」,每年都會會選定一個主題城市,帶來當地的耶誕魅力,之前有浪漫的巴黎、絢爛的紐約、時尚的米蘭等,每次活動都得到不錯的回響,我想,今年也是不例外,於是,我就找了某天過去看看。

夢廣場位於台北時代百貨的二樓,也是我之前找到 NewJeans 快閃店的地方,我循著階梯上到夢廣場,人潮真是嚇死人的多,那些充滿著英倫風的裝置藝術作品,每每吸引人駐足拍照留戀,有愛麗絲的夢遊仙境、福爾摩斯的偵探世界,也有著英國天團披頭四的錄音室,而那些誇張與華麗並存的場景,讓人們都想拍照打卡,雖然沒有看到工作人員引導,不過,看到大家依序排隊,一組一組的依序拍照,不過,排隊的人實在太多啦!

沒想到這樣擁擠的地方,居然還有一對新人過來這裡拍婚紗照,像這種期間限定的場景,是可遇而不可求的,想必這對新人應該是不落俗套,勇敢做夢的年輕人,而大家也是盡量不去打擾他們的婚紗拍照,不過,人實在是太多了,婚紗照想要求完美的話,應該還是需要些後製,把不小心入鏡的路人們修掉。

因為人太多了,所以我只能很快地在這裡晃了一圈,但也深刻地感受到這裡熱鬧的氣氛,俗話說,人潮帶來錢潮,站在商家的角度,這樣的活動,不但有著深遠的行銷推廣目的,也可以帶到百貨商場的消費,另外,也賺得滿滿的流量,對於像我們這樣的普通人而言,多了一個好看又好玩的新景點,讓平淡的生活,多了一些樂趣,幸福感拉升到滿滿。




Back in November, I heard that this year, the Uni-President Group’s annual event was set to showcase a British Christmas vibe in collaboration with its major retail channels. Their yearly "Love Sharing" event always selects a themed city to highlight its unique Christmas charm. In the past, there have been romantic Paris, dazzling New York, and stylish Milan. Each event has received great feedback, and I figured this year would be no exception. So, I decided to check it out one day.

The Dream Plaza, located on the second floor of Taipei Times Square, was also where I had previously found the NewJeans pop-up store. Following the staircase up to Dream Plaza, I was greeted by a massive crowd. The place was packed! The British-themed art installations were truly eye-catching, and many people were stopping to take photos. There were setups like Alice in Wonderland, the detective world of Sherlock Holmes, and The Beatles’ iconic recording studio. These extravagant yet glamorous scenes made everyone eager to take pictures and share on social media.

Even though there weren’t any staff guiding visitors, people were lining up in an orderly fashion, taking turns for photos in groups. However, the lines were just too long! To my surprise, amidst this bustling crowd, there was even a couple taking wedding photos. Limited-time setups like these are rare opportunities, and this couple must have been bold dreamers who didn’t want to settle for something conventional. Everyone tried their best not to disturb their shoot, but given the sheer number of people, getting perfect wedding shots would probably require some post-editing to remove random passersby from the background.

Due to the crowd, I could only make a quick round, but I could genuinely feel the lively atmosphere. As the saying goes, “Where there’s a crowd, there’s money.” From a business perspective, events like these not only serve as brilliant marketing opportunities but also draw more consumers to the mall, while racking up tons of online engagement. For ordinary folks like us, it’s simply a fun and visually stunning new spot to explore, bringing a bit of excitement to our routine lives and filling us with happiness.
