RE: Would the DHF funding brick and mortar businesses that generate ROI make sense?

in Hive Polls6 months ago (edited)

Some might freak out at the idea of a chain store and how difficult that would be to run. One location is hard enough, right?

Apply that phone booth logic I offered. A chain store is 1000 identical units. Put all the resources into perfecting store 1, then build 999 clones. Same rule book for all. Operating 1 location 1000 times.

1000 stores all going in their own direction is a disaster. A costly mistake. Fair warning. lol (nervous laughter?)

When firing up a small business, I think the first and most common mistake people make is thinking their idea is awesome. We'll have people coming along asking for funding to sell yarn in the middle of nowhere, combined with 999 other ridiculous ideas. Majority will be mismanaged and fail. This is why I said I'd buy shelf space rather than acting all giddy thinking I could get an entire store to sell my merch out of this deal.

And by the way. I better get free shelf space out of this deal. lol

I want part of a wall. Eight feet wide. Starting at the ceiling and down four feet in a high traffic area but not behind the counter. In all locations, forever. I reserve the right to do whatever I want with it.
