Poll: Should the DAO sponsor jackpot prizes in chests?

in Hive Pollslast month

Last week the team reached out to discuss the idea of the DAO potentially sponsoring jackpot prizes for the chests that can be bought with glint or earned via league advancement. Previously the team provided Beta packs and Land Plots out of their own coffers, but those are running out. I've gathered some initial feedback of what people would like to see in Discord and I'm making this poll based on that feedback.

You can find that thread here.

The purpose of this poll is to gather stake-weighted feedback to determine what proposal if any that the DAO would like to see put forward to official voting. Please pick whichever option you most strongly support:

I would personally love to see actively on sale packs possible to be earned from chests, it's kind of nostalgic.

Riftwatchers packs as jackpots will be virtually useless in about 5 months. Those do not feel like jackpots at all. Even a soulbound card is more useful than a RW pack. Please don't go with those.

Riftwatcher and Chaos gonna be in Wild Format only after 5months. Isnt it?

Correct!

I would vote for RW and/or RB packs. Why not do both? :-P

I briefly considered putting an option like that, but we're already going to potentially split the pack votes as is, a 3rd option would dilute further. if RW/RB are leading by a wide margin, maybe I'll work that into a proposal.

Alright, great! ;-)

A, B, E... mind you have about 99 Chaos League packs I haven't bothered to open yet.

I voted for RW packs, but I also think that only Modern should have "jackpot" prizes... and RW packs might be useless to someone who only plays in Modern. A single pack isn't exactly much of a jackpot. I remember when people were getting like 50k (or more) SPS and stuff. That said, we still have to be careful how much we give away in chests, and I don't think we should give them away to bots. I say that as someone who runs a bot in Wild.
