The purpose of this poll is to gather stake-weighted feedback regarding the current sentiment of the SPS DAO Sponsored Tournaments. Just Right
I think the entry fees are fine as is and I'd prefer you don't change them at all.
Make Them Higher
I'd prefer the entry fees to be higher. Let's burn some more DEC!
Make Them Lower
I think the fees are too high and I'd prefer they were reduced. Just make sure all players have to put something on the line to sign up and prevent flees!
Get Rid of Them Entirely
Things were much better a month ago and I don't like the fees. The requirement to use an active key to sign up for tournaments is problematic for me and/or I feel that the CP and SPS staking requirements are sufficient on their own without an additional fee.
I like the fact we are burning DEC and if its 2m/month (+/-). Overall, this will help with the overall game economy. Any dec burned/sinks are a net positive. (IMO)
Yea it's been interesting seeing how much it managed to add up to over a month. Considering the first few days I think entries were a little down too because people weren't expecting the fees. Next month could be higher? I guess we'll see. Very small sample size for the data thus far.
I think burning DEC is not enough incentive to have entry fees in tournaments. If we want to discourage new/small players from participating in tournaments and simply focus on DEC burning let's triple the entry fees in that case we at least might burn more DEC.
I'll tell ya, I fought bringing them back for most of the last year. I was kind of surprised by how many people actually wanted them back. That said, I'm here to serve the community, so if people tell me they want them gone or tripled or whatever, I'll make it happen. Thanks for the feedback.
I have voted yes to 'just right' but i wouldn't know if this is the right amount across all tournaments.
I do love the idea of paying to enter / burning DEC so will keep my vote there for now.
Entry fees are reasonable and its great to see ghost accounts cleaned out while adding a healthy DEC burn... Great success!
I'd definitely be in favor of raising the DEC entry fee! Burn, baby, burn!
I do prefer having an entry fee for the majority of the tournaments. That being said, I don't think there should be a fee for novice or bronze tournaments. Asking more from a player that's trying to get into the game is counter productive in my opinion. By participating in the lower league tournaments with no financial risk, it could help the player to build their deck and grow to enter the higher tournaments with fees.
Very happy with the current entry fees, they've stopped people joining to not play and flee. Only people who actually want to participate join now
