I thoroughly enjoyed reading this! Thank you for that gem of a window into your adventure.
The bus whacking made me laugh out loud!
I once went Geo Caching in a remote part of the Western Cape and the journey led me to caves only accessible at low tide to eventually ending up at a gravestone in a cemetery that this dude's kids had made to honour their father. It was epic.

    That's way more scary than what I do. I have heard such stories before.
