My first place in Alberta, Canada that I rented (dirt cheap) looked almost like that - except for the mess. Just the style and age of the place. It was 1 1/2 stories, from the upper window of one of the rooms I could watch a exhibitionist young lady across in the other house. Free model, in a way, because that upper room was my studio.
