RE: a painful farewell

thx you very much for your feedback, comment and upvote. i´m very pleased for the positive feedback and that you liked the post.
i think it´s true. most of the artists who working self authorized in public space are more straightforward and honest than the colleagues who work for the gallery. graffiti artists do not ask for permission and they are doing what they have to do and not what other people tell them to do.
you´ve to start making art in the public space. an awesome inspiration for it is the movie "exit trough the giftshop" (if you don´t know it). the public space is OUR space! we build it with taxpayer money, so we should have the right to interfere with it creatively. it can be posters, stickers, stencil paintings, or traditional graffiti. but we should take back the reigns. so go out and be creative ;). we should not leave the space to advertising and commerce without resistance. that´s what i think.

Wow, I hadn’t really considered that before to be honest, and I’m not sure how I think it would play out as a policy, but I like it as an ideal for sure!
