For a while, the library had a shelf of cheap romance novellas. They weren't even catalogued by title or author. The idea was they were so poorly made it wasn't worth the effort. The binding would break and pages fell out, and they were not worth replacing with the same title because they were such disposable stories anyway.

Cheap novella's, its a fitting description. You see these in supermarkets within the donation trays sometimes. We ended up selling hundreds of them in bulk lots once @bingbabe had read the entire library around 15 years ago.
