I have a number of places to visit in Staffordshire and Derbyshire So I kicked off with this old farmhouse last week, complete with Winnebago!
Both had seen better days, but still the sort of mooch that I love.
As you can imagine this is a simple walk in, let’s do the house first.
Not much left in the house that holds that great aroma you pick up in these long abandoned DERPs
So that was the farmhouse enjoyed, let’s have a mooch in the Winnebago, the door opened and boy was it warm in there, the air musty the detritus interesting.

Nice Floyd lyric. Seems to be a lot of abandoned houses in your area. The camper looks in relatively good condition, but may be past the point of being restored to working order. It is such a shame to see things rot like that.

You couldn't have even made that one up! Were they kidnapped in 1996? Or did farming get so bad that they decided to run off to Spain, leaving their home as a 1990s time capsule with some spicy "artefacts" thrown in? Just brilliant 👌😁

I find it somewhat amazing that some of those documents were still so well preserved from in the house. must have been on very high quality paper. Most of the rest of the place looked well weathered and worn inside.
Yes, I guess they may have been stored in an envelope and found by other explorers who left them out, I see this quite often, and tbh I will have a foot myself to try and find interesting stuff
