I opened the backdoor, which was only held closed by an old lump of wood resting against it.

C,mom

This could be interesting I thought.

Looking for give away signs of habitation, Part 2:

Coughs loudly..silence

Wandering through the place, it was apparent that if unlived in it was only recently placed on the abandoned list that's for sure.

Nothing more recent than 2018 hanging on the walls, both calendars from a road freight company, a former employer perhaps.

Looks like he may have been a bit of a lothario in former times

A quick look in the bedroom, found the most ineffectual guard dog ever

Keep going, do the kitchen and we are finished here

Closing the door behind me, I left a world I knew not existed.

Uploading this little mooch I still wonder if our friend had just popped out to the shops, and if he were to return what would he think when he saw the fat stuffed dog had climbed up off the floor to sit on the chair!

I aint afraid of no ghost

Looks pretty lived in, perhaps long distance trucker. Weird experience walking through the home that's not.

!BEER

different!!!
never thought of the trucker aspect tbh, nice theory

Some enjoy being loners, earn a little, live a little, peace and quiet, hell we need it in this crazy world!

we certainly do not!! as a babyboomer though I have to say I think it was the best time to be here before eternal blackness

Don't look in the cupboards or under floorboards, might be in for a big surprise.... We baby boomers are a tough nut to crack!

nor open closed fridges and freezers!!!!!

Never know what will fall out.... Yuck!

Hey @grindle, here is a little bit of BEER from @joanstewart for you. Enjoy it!

Did you know that you can use BEER at dCity game to **buy dCity NFT cards** to rule the world.

That looks like it could be lived in to me. Even clothes hanging to dry. It would be terrifying to turn a corner and run I to another person lol

when the adrenalin kicks in, it takes over!!!!

All your pictures are very beautiful and show the beauty of your house and your house is also beautiful I love it

Прекрасен стил, все повече започвам да го ценя❤️

Your post is very interesting!! The picture, I have to recognize that some of them scared me a little bit, hehe, but, is a great composition!! I enjoyed it a lot!

I didn't know this community! So thank you! Because thanks to your post, now I joined to Urban Exploration as well!

welcome to @belug , and thanks for engaging

It does look like someone still lives there judging by the pictures and the jar of open pickles. It is quite common for the older generation to leave doors unlocked if they are popping into the shop or going for a walk. Especially in the countryside. Something that remained from the Soviet trusty times.

i was in two minds, the power and water off swayed it for me tbh

I recon these types of dwellings don't have water per se. Was there a well near the house?
Electricity... not sure. Thinking the owner can't afford electricity. 😅

I guess I shall never find out, sadly.

What an interesting find @grindle it sure looked like somebody was still living there.
I think if I would have been there alone I would have turned around and went out. Lol brave that you kept going… hahaha
So much to see in the house 🏡
Thanks for sharing 😎

thanks @littlebee4 , once the adrenalin kicks in, there is no turning back

Hahaha I can imagine @grindle 😎😁
And we all love adrenalin…

I think he is still there. In Scandinavia men needs such houses because the women are crazy dictators.

a sort of bolt hole away from her indoors?

Haha, yes. Bomb shelter even, if you are a Swede.

Looks abandoned yet the way the stuff was kept in an unkempt manner makes me think that the owners went for a stroll without cleaning up firsthand😅🤷‍♂️.

😇👍

It looks like the place has been around for a very long time. What about the wood cutting machine, is it still Good

i dont really know

It doesn't look so old, ours are usually dropping apart (Granddads House). The owner may have gone down to the local Brothel for a shag while you were in there, and left the back door open.

lucky him 😂
