The place does look like it was a thriving place at one time. It must of been quite some time ago by the looks of the many weathered building. Not knowing why it was left behind gives it an interesting mysterious value. All those plates and dishes left behind really bring to light it may have been sudden and quickly abandoned. I know if I was given notice and owned a restaurant I wouldn't leave behind all of that.
