The oldest structure in the Samarskaya Luka National Park is the ruins of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. According to official information, the church was built in 1714. It was closed in the late 1920s. They say that there were several attempts to blow up the building, but it did not cause much damage. In the early 1990s, the church was given the status of a local architectural monument. There were plans to restore the church, but it never went beyond one bricklaying and a lot of talk.

In which county is this national Park?
Russia, Samara region, on the banks of the Volga - Samarskaya Luka National Park
Very unique, sturdy old building, you can see that the construction user red brick, there is no iron structure, but it is quite sturdy. Thank you.
In the 3rd, 4th and 11th pictures you can see iron reinforcements, after all iron was also used in construction.
