My previous posts have been short because they focus on photography, and I've been posting a lot on Liketu. I quite liked its interface and its community, so I haven't been posting since Peakd. Liketu allows me to make posts a bit faster, as I don't have much time due to my work and travels, but since it's December and my work is more relaxed, I'm going to make more complete posts.

Mis anteriores posts han sido cortos porque se enfocan en las fotografías, y es que he estado publicando bastante en Liketu. Me gustó bastante su interfaz y su comunidad, por lo que no he estado publicando desde Peakd. Liketu me permite hacer publicaciones un poco más rápidas, al no tener mucho tiempo debido a mi trabajo y viajes, pero ya que estamos en diciembre y mi trabajo es más relajado, voy a hacer publicaciones más completas.

Hace poco comenzó a implementar el NFT, cada usuario es poseedor de uno y de algunos que van lanzando con promociones. Por ejemplo yo tengo dos NFT, uno es la foto de perfil y el otro es porque estuve presente al momento del lanzamiento: se tenía que dejar el nombre de usuario, por lo que solo los que se conectaron en ese momento, lo tienen. También han lanzado algunos con asistencias a algunas conferencias. Ahora lo nuevo es, que cada usuario tiene un nivel referido a cuanto usa esta aplicación, mientras más la usas, más beneficios se adquieren. Según dicen, tienen una de las colecciones más grandes del mundo.

En 2015 implementaron un programa llamado Creadores, se podía crear contenido y las recompensas eran en Bitcoin, aquí fue que empecé a incursionar en el mundo de las criptomonedas. Gané alrededor de 100 dólares aproximadamente, podría haber ganado mucho más, pero las distintas ocupaciones entre el trabajo y la universidad me lo impidieron. Lamentablemente, creo que no les fue rentable y las recompensas las cancelaron en el 2017 o 2018, muchos perdieron esas ganancias al no saber como cambiarlas porque el monedero que usaban cambió rotundamente, de billetera a banco internacional. Tuve la suerte de poder transferir mis ganancias a Ripio (otra billetera de criptomonedas en Argentina).

I was disappointed when I was not among those privileged users who were part, but they launched a waiting list several months ago and just a few days ago, on December 1, all users who had signed up, became part of the NFT Store. They have a collection of NFT that can be obtained through their own currency called T Coin, these are earned by doing activities on the site and completing quests. Me desilusioné cuando no estaba entre esos usuarios privilegiados que eran parte, pero lanzaron una lista de espera hace varios meses y hace muy pocos días atrás, el 1 de diciembre, todos los usuarios que se habían anotado, pasaron a ser parte del NFT Store. Tienen una colección de NFT que pueden ser obtenidos a través de su propia moneda llamada T Coin, estas se ganan haciendo acividades en la página y completando misiones. Ahora esas T Coins se pueden comprar con Mercado Pago (billetera virtual argentina), no me llama la atención el tema de pagar, pero junto con esto, lanzaron unos NFT especiales, para ayudar a una ONG (Organización No Gubernamental), para ayudar a los perros abandonados de las calles. Esto sí me interesó para poder colaborar, así que canjeé uno de esos NFT. Como los T Coins no me alcanzaban, completé comprando y pagando con mi dinero. Gasté $372,40 ARS (pesos argentinos), poco más de 1 dólar, para poder obtener mi NFT.

No sé que tanta expectativa tener, pero trato de entrar a la página para no estar tan inactiva y poder ser parte, cuando lancen todo lo nuevo. Otra cosa que también es importante destacar es que muchas veces la página cuenta con errores (bugs) y que están sin reparar por bastante tiempo, por lo que los usuarios tienen que estar reportando, pero bueno, así y todo, le tengo cariño a la página, a pesar de toda la censura y de un bot automático que todo lo borra o marca cosas inocentes como NSFW. La página no creo que vuelva a su esplendor del 2009/2011, pero espero que todo lo que implementen sea para mejorar.

In conclusion, both companies are entering the NFT world. Also Ripio has launched Ripio Portal through which you can create NFTs, but I have not yet tested how it is being implemented. For the moment, I am only registered in these pages, and I am writing from my own experience. My big questions are: will they have any value in the future? Or is it just a passing fad? The truth is that I don't have the answer, but as long as I don't make big investments, I don't lose anything, and the dollar I spent is for a good cause.

O solo es algo pasajero que está de moda? La verdad que no tengo la respuesta, pero mientras que no haga grandes inversiones, no pierdo nada, y el dólar que gasté es para una buena causa.

Que buena la idea de comprar NFT por una buena causa como la de la ONG de perritos, si es así tendria un poco más de sentido comprarlos. O un valor agregado más al momento de adquirirlos.
No estoy tan al tanto del mundo NFT. Me hice la billetera Lemón pero la usé una vez sola y listo jaja. Debería retomarla para ver qué beneficios me estoy perdiendo.
