[ENG-ESP] My FIRST makeUp look on Hive! Smokey eyes ❤

Un saludo cariñoso para todos mis amigos de la comunidad de Makeup power! Siempre he amado experimentar con el color y siempre he creído que para ello no es necesario limitarme al papel o al lienzo. Descubrir que podía tomar las mismas mezclas que realizaba con óleo o crayón y plasmarlas en mi piel con sombras y delineadores, me permitió relacionarme de una forma diferente con el color, e incluso conmigo misma. Poco a poco, el maquillaje se convirtió en mi aliado en los momentos en los que mi piel no contribuía con mi autoestima, y mi amigo en aquellos en los que quería transportar el color a otros espacios.

Warm greetings to all my friends in the Makeup power community! I’ve always loved to experiment with color, and have always believed that I don’t need to limit myself to paper or canvas. Discovering that I could take the same mixtures that I made with oil or crayon and translate them onto my skin with shadows and eyeliners, allowed me to relate in a different way with color, and even with myself. Little by little, makeup became my ally in times when my skin didn’t contribute to my self-esteem, and my friend in those in which I wanted to transport color to other spaces.

Es por ello que desde que mi tía @machiqui63 me comentó sobre la existencia de esta comunidad, mis ganas de formar parte de ella han sido enormes, así que este fin de semana decidí ponerme manos a la obra y realizar mi primer maquillaje. Entre tantos challenges (uno más divertido que el otro) y publicaciones, decidí hacer algo que en momentos de indecisión, me ayuda a escoger: tomar una imagen de mi carrete de fotos, e inspirarme en sus colores para escoger las sombras.

That is why since my aunt @machiqui63 told me about the existence of this community, I’ve had a huge desire to be part of it, so this weekend I decided to get down to work and do my first makeup. Among so many challenges (one more fun than the other) and publications, I decided to do something that in moments of hesitancy helps me to choose: take an image of my camera roll, and use its colors to choose the shadows.

Empecemos! Let's start!

En la primera imagen, sólo le apliqué BB cream y un primer color crema en ambos párpados. Luego comenzó la diversión: para iniciar con los ojos, le pegué cinta adhesiva en la comisura externa de ambos para que el delineado fuera mucho más sencillo de hacer.

In the first image, I only applied BB cream and a primer on both lids. Then the fun began: to start with the eyes, I taped the outer corner of both of them to make the outline much easier to do.

I started by applying the white shadow on the tear duct to begin the gradient, then I applied two shades of pink on the mobile eyelid, the first rose gold, and the second a French rose.

Empecé aplicando la sombra blanca en el lagrimal para empezar el degradado, luego apliqué dos tonos de rosa en el párpado móvil, el primero rose gold, y el segundo un rosa francés.

Then, I applied a purple tone and blended it with the french pink through both eyelids, and then did the same with a Persian blue. To finish, I made a very thin outline following the line of her eyes and applied mascara; I fixed the places where applied a little powder and blush on the cheeks, and c’est fini! .

Posteriormente, apliqué un tono púrpura y lo difuminé con el rosado hasta el párpado fijo, para luego hacer lo mismo con un azul persa. Para finalizar, le hice un delineado muy delgado siguiendo la línea de sus ojos y le apliqué máscara de pestañas; emparejé la zona en la ue me faltó BB cream, apliqué un poco de polvo y blush en las mejillas, y c’est fini!
