I just wanted to tell you about a little, yet good experience of last night. Last night, I chose to do my own make up. This can be seen as a minor detail, but in my case, it was a special one. I was in no rush and did my make-up and looked at myself in the mirror smiling.

I was relaxed as I went to apply my make-up. I liked each process, the application of foundation, the addition of a hint of color on my lip so forth. I was not rushing. I was simply enjoying the process and having confidence in myself. In doing it, I also learned that the point of makeup is to look good, as well as to communicate and be confident.

I thought I was fine when I completed and looked at the mirror and smiled. I was presentable and very confident and hehehe, I was also pretty. It was not due to a costly make-up or flawless capabilities, however, because I created it myself. My heart was glad of that feeling. We do not remember how valuable we are and how hard we work on the daily basis.

Completing my self-makeup made me remember that I should self-love. We do not necessarily require confirmation of others in order to feel good. We only have to look in the mirror and say that we did a good job today. It will make us confident even doing such basic things as fixing ourselves, taking care of our appearance, or getting time onto ourselves.

It is also a lesson that I gained that beauty is internal. Make up may help beautify us, but confidence is what causes us to shine. When you are good inside it reflects out. That evening, I did not only notice that I had makeup on my face, I noticed determination, hard work and self-love.

One thing that every person reading this needs to remember is to give time to yourself. Wear something nice, put on make-up, or do anything that will make you feel good and sure. You have a right to be beautiful in your own different way.

Hivers, thank you very much, indeed, for reading my little tale. I wish that this blog will encourage you to love yourself a little bit more today.
