And I always say it very firmly and I seem serious and hard, but what really happens in my head is this: and if they don't like what I do, if after all my effort the other person doesn't like it, besides that also consumes a lot of time and usually they don't ask me to make up one person but 5 for the same day, so I always decline the offer, besides it's always free and they want me to use my materials and resources, that's NO either. Because my materials are for my skin type, not all skins are the same, for example my compact powder could cause someone else's acne because it is contaminated with residue from my skin and perhaps particles from other makeup that are mixed.
Ok, the reasons are endless besides my insecurity, and I finally gathered some courage inside myself for two specific reasons:
She is one of my workers and we are making a theme in the menu to attract more public with offers.
A colleague tried to make up something similar to my creations and it left her horrible, I swear, she was horrible.
The theme is this: it is Around the World in offers, so the offers have names of countries, the best known. We made a map and the offers were plane tickets.

Y siempre lo digo muy firme y parezco seria y dura, pero realmente lo que sucede en mi cabeza es lo siguiente: y si no les gusta lo que hago, si después de todo mi esfuerzo no resulta del agrado de la otra persona, además de que también eso consume mucho tiempo y por lo general no me piden para maquillar a una sola persona sino 5 para el mismo día, así que siempre declino la oferta, además siempre es gratis y quieren que use mis materiales y mis recursos, eso tampoco no. Porque mis materiales son para mi tipo de piel, no todas las pieles son iguales, por ejemplo mi polvo compacto podría causarle acné a otra persona porque está contaminado con los residuos de mi piel y quizá partículas de otros maquillajes que se mezclan.
Ok, las razones son infinitas además de mi inseguridad, y por fin junté un poco de valentía en mi interior por dos específicas razones:
Ella es una de mis trabajadoras y estamos haciendo una temática en el menú para atraer más público con ofertas.
Una compañera trato de maquillar algo similar a mis creaciones y la ha dejado horrible, se los juro, estaba horrible.
La temática es la siguiente, es la vuelta al mundo en ofertas, entonces las ofertas tienen nombres de países, los más conocidos. Hicimos un mapa y las ofertas eran tickets de avión.
So my worker was like the target of this girl, who really is a very important figure in the company, she wanted to do her makeup to help, but it was a disaster, when she told me I'm done, come take a look, omg, her eyeliner was in one eye it was super thick and in another it was thin, it had a very marked tail that did not suit it and some country flags made terribly wrong, my jokes are very very hard and heavy, but it seemed that someone with Parkinson's did it. As the girl who did all the makeup she tends to be harsh and unfriendly.
- I immediately said that I didn't like it, and I told the girl: Don't worry, I'll fix it for you...
When my worker walked to prepare some things to start her day, my partner was walking and told her
- Omg who did that to you, go wash your face, excuse me but I can't see you like this.
Luckily there are no pictures of her in that horrible makeup, and it was only on her face for like 10 minutes tops.
So that's how I really plucked up the courage and I told her, okay, I'm going to make you up and you'll be Chinese, and what's the most representative thing about China that everyone knows, a dragon, I'll do that to your face, I promise you'll go to look good I was scared inside, wanting my hands to work well, so I first did the sketch on a sheet, I always do it all on my face, but this time it's not my face I was working with.
Entonces mi trabajadora fue como el blanco de otra chica, quien realmente es una figura muy importante en la empresa, ella quiso maquillarla para ayudar, pero fue un desastre, cuando me dijo ya terminé ven a mirar, omg, su delineado estaba en un ojo era súper grueso y en otro era delgado, tenía una cola muy marcada que no le favorecía y unas banderas de países hechas terriblemente mal, mis chistes son muy muy duros y pesados, pero parecía que alguien con Parkinson la hubiera maquillado. Como la chica que hizo todo el maquillaje tiende a ser dura y poco amigable.
- Inmediatamente dije que no me había gustado, y le dije a la chica: No te preocupes, yo te lo arreglaré...
Cuando mi trabajadora caminó a preparar algunas cosas para empezar su jornada, justamente mi socio caminaba y le dijo
- Omg quien te hizo eso, ve a lavarte tu cara, discúlpame pero no puedo verte así.
Afortunadamente no hay ninguna foto de ella con ese maquillaje tan horrible, y solo estuvo en su rostro como 10 minutos máximo.
Entonces así fue como me armé de valor realmente y le dije, okay, yo te voy a maquillar y serás china, y qué es lo más representativo de china que todos conocen, un dragón, te haré eso en tu cara, te prometo que vas a quedar bien. Yo dentro de mi estaba asustada, deseando que mis manos funcionaran bien, por lo que primero hice el boceto en una hoja, yo siempre lo hago todo en mi cara, pero en esta ocasión no es mi cara con la que estaba trabajando.
And she came out really good, when she looked at herself in the mirror, she said: NOOOOOOOO, IT LOOKED VERY COOL. Omg I felt her confidence. I remember that while I was putting the basics on her, the eyeliner and the mascara, I mentioned that she had very pretty eyes, and that day most of the well-known people made a comment about how they had never noticed that she had pretty eyes, I leave you the photos guys.
Y salió muy bien, cuando ella se miró en el espejo, ella dijo: NOOOOOOOO, TE SALIÓ MUY COOL. Omg sentía su confianza. Recuerdo que mientras le ponía lo básico, el delineado y la máscara de pestañas le mencioné que tenía ojos muy bonitos, y ese día la mayoría de personas conocidas hicieron un comentarios acerca de que nunca habían notado que ella tenía ojos bonitos, les dejo las fotos.
I loved this experience, certainly when I made the decision to do her makeup I felt very confident but it is still something that scares me to do with others, but her happiness brought me happiness.
Esta experiencia la amé, ciertamente cuando tomé la decisión de maquillarla me sentía muy confiada pero aún sigue siendo algo que me da miedo hacer con otros, pero su felicidad me trajo felicidad a mí.

Yo tampoco creo que sea con mala intención lo del maquillaje, yo antes ignoraba todo eso, hasta que mientras más investigaba del maquillaje, más sabía, por ende nosotros sabemos lo que sabemos, pero otra gente que ni pendiente, no lo ven a mal. Y gracias por leer amiga, jajaja, todo un cuento
