Natasha Denona Retro eyeshadow Palette is a gorgeous palette that focuses on mauves and burgundies. It has deep colors and shimmers that pair with them along with some taupes and dusty roses to use as a base. Looking at a lot of reviews on their palettes, I've figured this is one of fans' favorites from them.

To start, I am using the shade called Andy which is a cool-toned purplish-kinda pink as a transition shade. Just apply them all over the eyelids and extend it quite a bit to the outer lids. I have semi-hooded eyelids so I am applying them above the crease as well cos if I don't, the moment I open my eyes fully, most of it's gone. :P

Next is using the shade Groove and applied under the crease I guess that's how you'd describe it. :P

Then grabbing a tinier brush, I used the shade Opart to deepen the inner and outer lids. Only apply there tho, it gives an illusion of 3d eyes instead of just being flat with colors.

Then using the shade Psychedelic for the shimmer-highlights. I mostly applied them on the center and kinda faded them on the sides. I'm using my fingers since it is best to use for shimmers and also I think I remember the palette said at the back that it's the best way to do it but I'm not sure since I didn't really pay attention with reading haha.

Then I grabbed the Makeupforever black eyeliner to tightline the upper and lower lids. This eyeliner is quite pricey but so worth it in my opinion. It literally doesn't smudge even after hours and sooooo black. I haven't tried the other brands like Nyx but I read that's also really good as well. It's so important to find an eyeliner that is waterproof because if it's not waterproof then you'd see it run or smudge at some point and it will mess up your makeup. :D

After the pencil liner, I also used their liquid liner.

After the eyeshadows come the foundation. I used to think it's so weird that a lot of makeup artists do this but then I learned the reason behind. A lot of times when you apply eyeshadow, there will be fallouts or mistakes so if you have applied a foundation on your face and you have those mess, it will be hard to correct it or worse you'd have to remove the foundation and do it again. This way it makes my life easier since I make a lot of mistakes lol.

After that, do the usual stuff for the face. For the lips, I have a mauve matte shade from the brand Peripera and topped it with Flower Knows berry lip gloss for the shine. :D

After trying this Girlcult green lip gloss tho, I think that one's a lot better than a mauve lipstick haha. It just looks so bold and futuristic.

And here's the final look! I love that it's just simple but looks "high effort" because of the dimensions. Adding depth to both inner and outer eyes really pumps up the look. It's looks glam and all haha.

It looks super glam! Are you wearing contacts in these photos, your eyes pop so much especially in that last shot on the left.

The pencil liner, liquid liner combo looks so good. Is the liquid liner applied with a brush? Or is it a pencil type applicator?

I used to love a mauve, purple-ey color palette. I think it looks really good on you. Glam but not too much. And you've got cat eyes, lady! 😻
