Today the title of this post is not exactly because my intention was to make a “Blossom Sky” it's really because that's the name of today's protagonist eye shadow, I had not had the opportunity to use it and today I decided to make a look, although after I finished I was left with the doubt of how it would look on a lighter base shadow since I wanted to use it on a black base, but in another opportunity I'll get out of doubts, even so I really like how it looks, this time I used the duochromatic shadow of Moira in the shade Blossom sky which is a blue tone that depends on how the light bounces it can look green or blue, I have several green duochromatic shadows but most of them change from green to yellow and that's why I found this one so special, I confess that when I bought it and saw it in its packaging I didn't notice too much the color change, but when I took the pictures close up on my eyes I could notice that in some pictures it looks green and in others a very nice pale blue, I guess that the tone also varies depending on the base that is placed underneath and soon I will test it with another look to see how it looks like.
I hope you like it.
I made up my eyebrows and applied concealer on the eyelid, then I took black gel eyeshadow and applied it blending it, I sealed using black eyeshadow and on top I applied Blossom sky shadow, on the lower eyelid and waterline I used a dark blue shadow from my new Beauty Creations palette and illuminated a little bit the part that connects the lower eyelid with the tear line using a blue shimmer shadow that is also in this palette.
Then I applied mascara and primer on the face, let it dry and applied my foundation and contours, sealed with translucent powder and applied a light brown blush, it took me a while to choose the color of the lips but in the end I chose a purple tone, I finished by gluing false eyelashes.
This look was quite simple and easy to do, but it was mostly to try this single shadow from Moira and I really love the color, in another opportunity as I mentioned, I want to try it over a light base, I feel that the color will stand out more that way and well, here you will see some photos that I took very close and you can notice the color change, in the photos where you see my full face you can not see too much change and in the mirror it looks spectacular.
Looking good! I love duo chromes but they’re very tricky to capture on camera. You’d have to position lights in a specific way but you can just learn it in no time. :D I’ve heard of this brand too and they look nice. I feel like it’s best to have a black base cos they stand out more haha but you can always try it on white. :D
