The ultimate bulletproof, time-tested, and quality-proven list of awesome Hive resources that you have always wanted to have but were afraid to ask for.
Now you have a chance.

First thoughts
I know what your first thought was:
“Hey, this is not a complete list.”
Not yet. But it can be close to that.
DIY (or die trying)
All you need to do is to add an entry that you think is missing.
It’s not possible for one person to create a perfect list, but with a little bit of help from everyone, we can make it very close to perfect.
Contribution Guidelines
I’ve used a “generic” CONTRIBUTING.md file that is common for similar projects:
Please ensure your pull request adheres to the following guidelines:
- Search previous suggestions before making a new one, as yours may be a duplicate.
- Suggested packages should be tested and documented.
- Make an individual pull request for each suggestion.
- Use the following format:
[PACKAGE](LINK) - DESCRIPTION.
- New categories, or improvements to the existing categorization are welcome.
- Keep descriptions short and simple, but descriptive.
- End all descriptions with a full stop/period.
- Check your spelling and grammar.
- Make sure your text editor is set to remove trailing whitespace.
Thank you for your suggestions!

The Idea, other alternatives
The idea of Awesome Hive was inspired by https://github.com/sindresorhus/awesome and I was recently reminded of it by @missagora.
Shortly after that, I found out that @good-karma had already come up with the same idea.
Not a problem though, we’ll just merge our awesome efforts.
Why GitHub?
- Because similar lists are already there.
See: - Because it’s quick and simple.
- Because it will go into the Arctic Vault. (Which is literally COOL!)
Why not a dedicated website?
Well, we used to have a Hive Projects site, which was great and open source, but its data were centralized and therefore not immune from becoming consigned to the dustbin of the Internet.
For the Awesome Hive list to be decentralized, all you need to do is to click the “fork” button.
Let's make sure that Awesome Hive will be good enough before the next snapshot for the Arctic Code Valut.
Oh, and if you don’t have a GitHub account, you can just follow the guidelines above, but instead of posting your suggestions on GitHub, write them in the comments below.
The perfect solution (not here yet)
Moderated community, on-chain entries, open source dApp to gather and present data.
(+ the ability to dump those entries to GitHub Awesome Hive List as a backwards compatibility feature ;-) )
50% beneficiary goes to @good-karma, the creator of the older instance: https://github.com/ledgerconnect/awesome-hive
(We would love to see it added to the Awesome list of Awesome lists.)
Just saw this. Looks useful. Definitely need to add more of the games and other dapps. I will look at adding some
Congratulations @gtg! You received a personal badge!
May the Hive Power be with you!
You can view your badges on your board And compare to others on the Ranking
Do not miss the last post from @hivebuzz:
Thank you soooo much!!
Agorise will definitely be helping out with the PR's :)
ditto :)
Great idea and thanks for your contribution to HIVE
Hive really needs this - I think that projects site you were talking about is already consigned to the internet dustbin, it's been offline for at least a couple of months!
It is great to have information in this regards at one place
Great to have a solid list all in 1 place 🤘😎🤘
Really appreciate this list. We didn't realize being away from Steemit so long on our old account that the party moved over here. So trying to catch up on what is going on in HIVE. Truly feels like the old days again, happy to see this transition has sparked much needed development we didn't see much of on the old platform. Thanks again for posting this, needed it actually a lot today
This is a really awesome idea, @gtg. I'll be adding my various projects here within our @HiveHustlers ecosystem (HiveBit.io, HiveSwag.io, HiveBay.io (coming soon), HiveHustlers.io, and soon more).
Thank you!
Edit: Also voted you witness. Keep up the solid work.
Thank you! I was just looking for something like this!
can you please add https://www.hive.wiki/
I love wiki
@gtg, can you clarify what is meant by PACKAGE - DESCRIPTION?
Like say I wanted to submit an entry for hivesearcher.com (if one isn't already submitted). What would be the "package"?
Name of that thing. So something like:
`[Hive Searcher](https://hivesearcher.com) - Cool app to search for stuff.`
Thanks. In looking at how my comment turned out, it kind of makes sense, now.
I wish there was a “save post” function so that I can organize posts for future reference, like this one for exampe.
Peakd has a bookmark feature.
I guess now I know where I should “set shop”.
Ecency also has a bookmark feature
Never heard of @ecency seen it around but never actually took a deep look into what they offer, good to know there are so many options.
Great article for a newbee🙂
This write up is causing my brain to pain me. Too much tech things..
good effort by the way
LOVE this idea.
I noticed that @swap.app isn't there (https://swap-app.app/)
I just used it, it works flawlessly and frankly is a tool everyone in the community should know about.
Also, I sent a pull request adding my Hive dapp cXc Music and THEN I saw your section about contributing. I'll try again ha ha.
Also,
I don't see anything remotely similar to the apps like the old "minnowbooster" or similar bot apps. I have been looking for one, but somewhere in the shift to Hive I don't know what the best one to use is, or even what's still working or not.
anyway, great work!
Nevermind, I think I actually did the pull request right. I'll do another for swap app.
Also, I see no blocktrades? Is this a list omitting trading apps by choice or just not added yet??
I couldn't find a good section to add swap app, so maybe you don't want to list these types of apps?
Having a list of exchanges that support Hive is something I'd like to see on the list, but we need to be very careful with adding entries there.
Gotcha. Thanks for accepting my Pull request!! We are honored to have our service on the list!
Why not also awesome hive graphics in list? 😁😎

100% THIS.
COPYRIGHT = CENSORSHIP
PROPRIETARY =/= SCIENCE
Need to get the repo as a link on Hive.io.
First we need to make it good enough :-)
