Greetings and blessings friends! I hope you are all having a great day. I’m delighted to participate in this community for the first time and to have the opportunity to express my views on various topics that involve putting emotions and feelings into perspective. There is always a need for a space like this, which is a channel for the free and respectful expression of ideas and approaches. On this occasion, I meet virtually with you to share a reflection on a very important topic and that is how we could do to try to be more optimistic in life.
To tell the truth, many of us find it hard to keep our optimism and positivity high; when we are faced with an adverse situation the first thing we do is complain about our luck and ask ourselves why this misfortune happened to us. What is convenient in these cases is first of all to question what life wants to teach us with that situation, in other words, what is the lesson to be learned in each case. When we see it from this point of view we could try to take something positive and profitable out of it.
When things don’t work out as we thought they would, we tend to ask ourselves where we failed, what we could have done better, and this is not all bad, because many times we look for reasons and culprits elsewhere, when perhaps the answer is in ourselves; this allows us to rectify and recapitulate. Many times our pride and some prejudices don’t allow us to admit that we have made a mistake, and the truth is that it is human to make mistakes; it’s something that is in our nature. The wisest thing to do is to act with humility, a value that we need so much, and accept that we are fragile but at the same time we have the capacity to retake the lost course.
There are elements and virtues that are essential when solving problems; among these virtues we find resilience, positivity and enthusiasm. Life teaches us that we cannot get bogged down in difficulties, but rather we should take time to reflect, take a deep breath, and analyze how we can solve the several situations that come our way, one at a time.
Optimism is linked to hope and confidence, and is above all a question of attitude; it all depends on our state of mind at any given moment. It’s necessary to broaden our perspective on things, to try to see the glass half full instead of half empty, and to understand with a little patience that time will bring new possibilities.
I believe that we must fight for our dreams and goals, if we don't do it ourselves, who else will? Let's not give up because of fear. Let's put a good attitude to the bad times. Thank you very much for coming this far. I wish you a week full of optimism and positivity; see you in a future reflection.
Wow,wow what a nice entry your writing is so incredible keep it up sir
Thanks so much! I'm glad to know you liked it.
Hello @rosana6 🙋
We liked the balance with which you expose the subject. You are very right in assuring that it depends on our attitude and how we are in a given moment the degree of optimism or positivity that we will have in the face of adversity. Bad times seriously test our good coping skills. To this we could add the people we have around us, if they are people who help us it will be much more advantageous.🌺
