Trusting Men...

in Emotions & Feelings5 months ago (edited)

At various stages of life, we all dream of finding someone who aligns with both our hearts and minds. I am one of those walking this path. I am 35 years old, and I now want a stable life and to marry someone who matches my heart and mind. My career goals are not even as ambitious as this anymore, but it truly saddens me to think about how unlucky I have been in relationships.

My last relationship is just one of these sad stories. I had been acquainted with him for a year, and we decided to become a couple in the last few weeks, even thinking about marriage. He told me I could trust him, ask him anything, and even hold him accountable. However, yesterday, after not messaging for a long time, I asked why we hadn’t been in touch, and he suddenly decided to end the relationship. He said he had issues and that I should take care of myself. I was left in shock, feeling sad and hurt.

Such sudden and unexpected breakups can deeply affect a person, especially if you have trusted the other person and started making plans for the future. Trust is one of the most important elements that make a relationship healthy. But trust is built over time and with mutual effort. I thought I could trust him, so I opened up my heart completely. To be met with such disappointment in return for that trust is really hard.

In a relationship, it's important when the other person tells you that you can trust them, that they will answer your questions honestly, and that they will be accountable to you. However, when these promises are not kept, disappointment is inevitable. In our relationship, while I thought everything was going well, to suddenly experience a breakup like this deeply affected me.

I find myself asking these questions: Why is it so hard to trust men? How is trust built and maintained in a relationship? What should we do after experiencing such disappointments? Finding answers to these questions is important both for myself and for others who go through similar situations.

By sharing this experience, I hope to help those who have gone through similar experiences express their feelings and thoughts. Maybe together, we can find the answers to these questions. We all need someone in our lives with whom we can form a bond of trust and be happy together. However, along this journey, we need to learn how to protect ourselves and build healthy relationships.

I would love to hear about your experiences and suggestions on this topic. What challenges have you faced in trusting men? How have you overcome such disappointments? Together, we can find ways to build healthy and trust-based relationships.

Thank you so much🙏🏻

That sudden breakup sounds really tough. It's normal to feel hurt and question things after an experience like that. Take your time to heal. Trust is tricky, but don't give up hope - there are good people out there. Be kind to yourself and remember it's okay to take things slow in the future. Wishing you all the best moving forward.

Thank you so much dear🙏🏻 yeah I will give time to myself😊
