I totally feel you. I once connected with a friend in a game, and we chatted on Discord for almost two years. But since we’re both students, we had to prioritize our studies, and that’s when our contact started fading. Like you, I realized that she was just a passerby too. We didn’t even exchange names or personal contacts, I missed her birthday and holiday greetings too hahaha, but we were happy with the connection we had. We’re still friends in the game, but we don’t play together anymore. I’m still hoping she’ll reach out to me again, though I also think that’s just a pipe dream.

Yeah I remembered you telling me before about that one friend you connected with in the game. Likewise, I also kinda missed the exchanging of greetings we did before haha. But you know what, even though we no longer keep in contact with those friends we once had, it is still a blessing to have them in our lives even just for a short period of time. After all, the memories and the fun conversations were all genuine. The person may be a passerby, but the memories remain forever. And it's something for us to be thankful of.
