How i manage anxiety

Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. This is another day in the #inleomonthly prompt. I’m so happy to be participating in this prompt. How do you cope with anxiety? Anxiety is a state of restlessness. You are anxious; you will not be focused; you will be restless, and you will find it hard to make decisions.

We have different ways of how we manage our anxiety. Anxiety has to do with our emotions. One thing about being anxious is it will make you restless and tense. When I am anxious, I am always unhappy. Before I know it, I will be sweating because I am restless. It is normal for us to feel anxious; what matters is the way we handle it. There is no human who doesn’t feel anxious. Anxiety may look small but is capable of destroying one’s life; it will make you look like the world is against you. You will only be trapped in one space; most times it can put one into a state of depression.

Most times when I am anxious, it affects my daily activities or tasks. Anxiety is not something that one should overlook; it is very important for one to find out the best way to manage or cope with anxiety. I will share the little way I have coped with my anxiety, and they really work for me.

Anxiety can make one lose her job, lose focus, and find it hard to communicate with people if it is not managed properly.

Ways I cope with anxiety

Mediation: Mediation has really helped me to stay off anxiety. I can remember when I visited an expert; she advised me to also meditate. Even if it is 30 minutes every day, it will help clear my mind from anxiety and help me stay positive all day. When mediating, I try not to be judgmental; I zero my mind from my worries.

Exercise: Exercise is a good way to cope with anxiety. It helps me to reduce stress. It helps me to be active. For someone like me, stress triggers my anxiety. I try my best to prevent anything that will cause me stress.

Socialize: Socializing with people has helped me cope with anxiety. As a human, I need someone to connect with; I need someone I can talk to. When I see myself in such a state, I thank God for the kind of friends I have. They always have my back. When I put a call across to them, they are always available to talk me out of it. Most times, I am always surprised that they know the right word to tell me. Once they are around me, they will bring up activities that will put a smile on my face. Talking to people is the best means to cope with anxiety. The universe gives me amazing friends who understand me and do not judge me. They are so supportive. They are not experts, but the way they talk me out of anxiety is amazing. I see love in there eyes whenever i have them around me.

Believe it is very important for us to seek help; if not, it will be very hard for us to overcome anxiety.

Your write up on socializing made me remember back then in school. If I'm having a bad day, I sort out all my school work and just come back home to family. It works like a charm for me. An amazing piece, well done Cindy.

Thank you dear socializing is the best way to handle anxiety
