ONEUP Cartel CryptoRaiding Weekly Update.... 12/1/22 - 19/1/22

This cute pixel game has conquered the blockchain gaming world by storm and is surprising players and investors with their innovation and development updates. The Cartel is already sending its own Raider into dungeons for loot and glory. In this article I present a summary of what our Raiders have been up to this week and of the broader game developments...

It's been another exciting week in CryptoRaiders what with Recruitment of Gen 4 raiders taking place and change to the recruitment dynamic, the introduction of 'questing' (basically staking your raider for a period of time) and we made a further investment of $300 in Raider which is now staked, as well as pooling some Aurum with USDC...

Minting our New Raider...

With Bash and 2500 Aurum we were able to recruit one new Gen 4 raider and welcome to the fam 'New Recruit'....

He's only a standard human raider, but this doubles our capacity to raid and quest and we'll be able to recruit a further two Gen fives next time around.

Recruitment became 'evergreen' for the next six months with a 30 day cooldown being introduced on each raider - previously it had been down to the devs to open up windows, which had been every two months.

The reason for the change is to bring more raiders to market to allow the game to be more affordable, and don't forget that Permadeath is coming to the came soon, so it might just be that we'll be churning through these.

Also, one might require a few raiders to be questing to provide gear for one's main raiding raiders.

Who knows?!? The game's evolving!

Raidering and Questing...

The Dungeons got harder(again!) this week and so where BASH was able to complete Heroic Croc a couple of weeks back, now he's back down two dungeons - either Heroic Faun or Regular Crock - it's tough out there!

He got no real gear of any interest, he's got everything he needs bar super rare stuff, and there's not much chance of getting that, but he got some nice experience - should be able LEVEL 8 next week.

I also took New Recruit out for his first raids - and for a LEVEL 1 Raider this means Memento Mori for gear and Glimmer of Hope for weapons.

I'm delighted to say we got a Hunters Garb straight off the bat, which is about as good as you can hope for down here, but no luck with the weapons.

There's not much to raidering early on, just have to grind to get the skills up, job done for this week!

Questing for GrimWeed

Quests were also introduced this week and I had BASH staked for s while until the Devs pulled this feature, to update it, to be back up later this week!

Still, we got SOME Grimweed....

We bought $300 worth of Raider

I bought and staked $300 worth of Raider for the Cartel - probably a good move, there have so far been TWO drops to Raider stakers - MOBS and MOUNTS, so who knows what's next!

The Raider is locked up for a year, 20% return, paid in Aurum.

Also, it cost less than anticipated to Recruit our raider so I swapped half for USDC and added that to the USDC-AURUM pool for a 200 odd % return.

• Bought 1 (GEN 3) Raider for $365, current floor = $580
• Raider 2 (GEN 4) (costed below) current floor = $330
• Bought $130 worth of Aurum ($100 to mint raider 2) and remainder ($30 worth original cost) pooled as USDC/ AURUM, worth $45
• Bought $300 worth of RAIDER, worth $285
• Total spent (USD) - $795
• Total asset valuation (USD) - $1240
• Total profit over 3 weeks = ~ $445.
