Continuing the tradition from @sketchygamerguy I just had to join in on the Splintercard making trend which you can join in here by going to: https://www.splinterlandscardmaker.com by @dark-hamburger. Sketchy, and a few others have been making Splintercards of their profile/themselves, and favorite characters/representations of popular Hive related icons!

So you know I have to jump in on that and create my own! I'll be starting with my own moniker, Jakkal.

Why Jakkal? Name Origins:

A good way to get a bit of an about me/introduction out of me as well; my namesake comes from my original gaming moniker: Blakkjakkal, which I have used for nearly 20 Years at this point across nearly every game I've ever played. It's of course, a simple homage to Anubis and the Jackal that Anubis is based off of. The introduction of the K's in the name came from many of the games I played requiring absolutely ridiculous names, and I wanted to have one name across all platforms I ever played. Blakkjakkal quickly became the best option, with it sometimes being changed into just Jakkal, or Jakkal Reborn. In short, my name is an homage to my interest in Anubis, Egyptian Mythology, and Mythology in general.

Why the Stats?

Jakkal would be a summoner, a Legendary summoner focused around stacking health and tearing away the opponent's defenses. The stat penalty, as a Legendary Summoner, would likely be -2 Armor, -2 Health, or +2 Health. I placed Rust in its place because we don't have a summoner option/stat bonus option (@dark-hamburger would love to see this and changing rarity!! <3)

The combination of Scavenger and Leech give him a very power sustain focused 'healing' that is fitting for a Death summoner and changes the Death meta in an interesting way. These powers in combination means that simply damaging your opponent gives you health, and defeating them additionally gives more health. I imagine he and Ancient Lich are quite close, lore-wise, and I believe he would also be closely associated with Harklaw in the lore as well.

If I ever have the money to get a card in the game, you can bet it'll be some semblance of this.

He'd fit right in with Uraeus! >:D

Why the Untamed Border?

I came in around when Untamed was just starting to sell out on the Shop, and so, as an homage to my starting point within Splinterlands, I decided to make him an Untamed card.

Fenrir

Where Sketchy did a favorite character, I think I'm going to do a favorite monster: Seeing as Splinterlands has plenty of cryptids in it, I think we need Fenrir. I mean, we have Cerberus, let's get in some other Mythos. I would also love to see Moongarm, but that may be too much, and the two could be combined.

Why the Stats?

Fenrir is bound by chains until the coming of Ragnarok, in order to represent Ragnarok coming, Last Stand is the best ability I can think to give this monstrosity. Furthermore, he will have Giant-Slayer as a slayer of Odin and as a monstrosity who attempts to destroy the world. Furthermore, we'll give him a massive amount of melee focus, with Trample, Enrage and Retaliate. With Last Stand and Enrage, this card would be dealing 14 Damage in a single hit, with 8 Speed!!!

This in my eyes, is the Neutral, melee oriented version of Chaos Dragon.

Why the Chaos Legion Border?

The slayer of gods, and the sign of Ragnarok pretty much requires a border if the name "Chaos Legion" is in it.

The Challenge

In keeping with the trend, I'm going to challenge a few folk to do this, simply make a post with a custom card of either your profile/namesake, your favorite character, or a character you'd like to see most in Splinterlands!
