It's been a bit from my last post and in that time I've started to really ramp up playing of a few wax games. My hopes are to build enough wax passivly that I can start jumping on bother games and build up the Splinterlands deck as well.

Farmers World

I have no idea what happened to this game in terms of NFT card prices and the price of wood, food and gold but while prices nose dived and then leveled out I decided to pick up a few NFT cards and start playing again.

This game is legit nuts I remember buying a axe and fishing pole for about 20wax when it first launch and later sold it a profit of 2,300 wax! But I also mined with it and was collecting about 20+ wax daily in resources for two weeks before I sold it off. I have to say that was a pretty good play so buying back in for 250 wax with MUCH better gear and more seemed like a ok fit to me to see what this game still had going for it.

I ended up picking up the following
1x Fishing Boat - Gets me about 50-80 food per hour
2x chainsaw - Get me about 100-120 wood per hour
1x mining excavator - Gets me about 80-110 gold per two hours

After a day of using those I sold the resources and wanted to test out chickens and crops. I have to say so far that's feeling like a huge waste of time and resources though. I really don't get how it connects into the resource aspect of the game lol. But with less than 10 wax invested into those areas I don't really mind and will continue to use them for a bit to fully test it out.

From what I understand you get a chicken and it lays a egg after A LOT of energy but all it process is a chicken? So what's the point lol

Same goes for crops you need crops to feed the chickens but again what's the point of having the chickens hmmm.

MuTerra

I ended up picking up 100 packs during the presale of muterra. Having missed out on the last I wanted to make sure I at least had something to hold on to in order to play the game and support another Hive game.

I did open up one pack and ended up landing a gold foil card already! You can check out my 5 cards from the opening here.

I feel like this was a decent opening. I'm holding off to open the others until the release of the game as I'm curious what pack prices will be and also how NFT cards operate in the game to see if there's a benefit to combining them etc.

Sneaky Pro Tip: I've already maxed this out myself so I figured I would share it with my readers. MuTerra has promo artwork on Wax that was airdropped to people who are active in the discord channel. These artworks at first where thought to simply be artwork and that was in. However coming very soon you will be able to import that artwork from wax into Hive and with it you'll get a unique tamer for it. These will have bonus stats. The thing is most of these are still super cheap on wax. In fact I ended up picking up 10 of the uncommon tamer cards for about 5-10 wax each! I have a feeling they are going to be worth A LOT more once the game launches. There's still a few others that haven't had their tamer card announced and those still seem to be on sale as well. *of course this isn't financial advise but gives you something you may want to research and check out for yourself.

REALM

This game ended up not being that popular but for myself I actully really enjoy it. It's pretty passive after the first 20 minutes as your building upgrades etc will start taking hours along with missions. I picked up packs when you could get them at ground floor prices and just held on to them.

Just a few days ago the early access stage 3 kicked in. Because things testing wise have gone so well with the game their combined stage 3&4 together which means after March 20th with this stage ends we should be gearing into public access and with it some seriously cool new features. The big bonus about this early access time frame is any xp earned on the cards now remains on the cards! That means I can level up my leaders and on the next season have an advantage over new cards.

My main cards are...

Two helper cards that pretty much take care of every mission I've run into. Those are Police and Surgeon

My biggest level card is The professional which increases my training speed by 22% which is HUGE since I only have two helper cards for missions it allows me to train them much faster and in turn knock out missions faster instead of waiting on workers etc.

This is my maxed level leader card. I wish I would of leveled up a few others but I don't see myself forking over a good 300 more wax in order to do so it doesn't feel worth it at the moment. Plus I'm kind of expecting some early access new cards and packs once we roll out of early access here in the next few weeks so I rather ground floor price those. Mainly those cards which are close are the explorer and the celebrity.

Other Games

There's a number of other games I'd like to play but honestly forking over the thousands of Wax on those seem pointless. The main thing with wax games is either you have a butt load to blow on these cards lol or your early access and can ground floor price packs. Besides that trying to build from scratch when everyone is charging a mint seems near impossible to make it worth. That doesn't mean that some games can't be worth it.

A few others I want to check are out.

Cryptofarm simply because of the massive amount of hype around that. The prices to get in are HUGE though.

I've also eyed up Kryptonrobot which looks pretty cool and has potential that one has slipped down the rankings so I have a feeling soon I can get into that game as a decent price.
