Yesterday was my first post covering a quick introduction along with my first day on Hive as a Splinterlands player. You can read the original here.

Today is a quick recap of my daily progress and second Chaos Legion pack opening.

Daily Quest

My first daily quest went fairly easy using the Life splinter, winning most of the day's matches. I took some sage advice and often battled outside of the quest so my opponents couldn't predict what I might play with.

Renting a few cards for the day @Peakmonsters also helped I picked up any missing Reward and Chaos Legion cards from Life splinter to help with the quest.

Today was a just as straightforward… Most of my matches to complete the quest were wins. However, as I progress, I'm certain the difficulty level will change.

I got an Alchemy potion for my troubles :)

Tournaments And Guilds

My experience is still lacking at the moment, so playing in a handful of tournaments would be a great way to practice. Maybe I might even come out on top :)

Since the budget is tight, I signed up for a many of the low DEC cost tournaments over the next couple of weeks that I could. Most of them are at the novice or bronze level. Wish me luck!

As for the guilds… It may be a bit more time before I dive in. Some of the contribution requirements may be a bit out of my league right now, and my collection power is still fairly low. Something to work towards!

Pack Opening

The first Splinterlands Chaos Legion pack I ever opened contained TWO gold foil cards! A lucky draw :) Having the potions topped up probably helped.

Back to normality today with the second pack.

A solid opening. I got a Goblin Psychic, a Deeplurker, a Sunkai Harvester, a Lava Spider, and a Djinn Apprentice.
My goal is to open at least one new booster pack every single day!

Next Steps

Right now, I'm currently sitting in the Bronze 3 division. My next goal is to reach the Bronze 2 tier and start earning some DEC with each win.

I'll be keeping on eye on the guilds to see if any spots open up. Getting more involved in the Discord community may lead to some opportunities.

Since I'm opening at least 1 new pack every day, it would also be nice to try my hand at a giveaway or two…
