One of my top goals as a Splinterlands player is to buy and open at least one new Chaos Legion pack every day. My second goal would be documenting my progress to cultivate the habit of creating content for the Hive and Splinterlands community.

Down the road… It would be nice to put together a handful of more 'in-depth' articles that can add more value for those reading. Hosting a regular giveaway would also be a great way to give back to and attract more players :)

Today is Day 5 in my @Splinterlands journey!

Pack Opening

As I've mentioned before, my first day pack opening produced TWO gold foil common cards :) Today I was gifted a gold foil rare card in the form of Life Sapper from the Death splinter! One of my favorite cards to play with.

Topping up on potions is proving to be a smart move :)

Progress and Rewards

I was finally able to rank into Bronze Level 2, but it did take a few losing streaks to get there. After breaking thru that ceiling, I'm now starting to earn valuable DEC with every win.

One of the most valuable cards for my gameplay right now is a summoner rental from @Peakmonsters called Mylor Crowling. Thorns everywhere! It's proven to be important in most of my wins so far. Today's sneak quest was made much easier with him and Goblin Thief working together.

I was rewarded with a Pelacor Mercenary:

Second Tournament

I just completed my second tournament!

The first was a Silver Level cap in which I was easily defeated early on. Fortunately, this one had a Bronze Level cap to give someone like me a better shot. However... I still got beaten in the first round. Maybe next time...

Both of these tournament were hosted by @clove71. I haven't won any of the prizes or giveaways yet, but I'll be sure to participate in more :) Cheers.
