It has a rather interesting past week for me. The End of Season and the start of a new one always brings about a flurry of activity. Of course, the most anticipated and exciting thing about every end of season is the chance of rewards accumulated in our reward chests throughout the season. This is what (I'm sure) everyone is most interested about at the end of every season. 🤑🍀

On the Splinterlands news side of things, it has been rather quiet overall (compared to the previous week at least 😜). The changes from DEC to SPS rewards seem to have gone smoothly, and there's less complaints overall (at least from what I've seen). This is to be expected as everyone gets used to the new system. We are all human after all, and the ability to adapt is inbuilt into us 😁.

A brief introduction before I start though...

Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 41st consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. Of course, this also marks my 37th weekly giveaway! 🎉🥳🎊

Personally, I've more or less gotten used to the SPS-DEC changes now. I still do feel that the SPS rewards seem to be lesser than DEC, but of course, with such a small sample size, it probably is just RNG. 😅

On the End of Season side of things, both my Main and Alt finished in the Gold League (albeit at different levels) so as to be able to farm Gold EOS chests for the next season.

Rewards wise, my alt had rather dismal results for the EOS rewards chests, with no Gold Foils, Epics, or even a measly RARE 😱😭. This is probably the worst EOS I've ever had on ANY of my accounts.

Fortunately, the main got a lot luckier to tip the scales back in my favour. 2 legendaries, an epic, a chaos legion pack and 93 SPS made a for a really good result in my opinion 😍🤑🍀.

My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.

As I've mentioned, news wise, it has been a relatively quiet week for Splinterlands. The townhall session seems to have hyped up the next week though, and it seems there will be quite a few major announcements then. 😱

It has been teased that the upcoming Townhalls will have reveals about the following major projects.

• RiftWatchers
• SPS Rewards for License Holders
• Splinterfest
• Tower Defense aka Splinterlands Arcade
• Undisclosed Project

I think the Tower Defense/Splinterlands arcade AND the mysterious undisclosed project is probably the most anticipated among all the news. There has been not much details about those and I'm sure everyone is very eager to find out whether they live up to the hype. I sincerely hope it does 😁. That'll mean bigger growth, bigger numbers, and more gain in value for all existing players. 🤑

This is all that has been revealed so far. Trying to tease everyone by just revealing a few squares every so often it seems 🤣. It does seem like this is the Tower Defense game. The "undisclosed project" is still a complete unknown. 🤔

It seems like this sneak peek image of a dragon is also the NEXT legendary airdrop summoner for Chaos Legion. There has been no other detail too as far as I'm aware of. Hopefully we'll get more information soon.

And now, for an update on the number of Chaos Legion packs sold thus far. About 118k sold since last week. That is an amazing sales figure! 😄

It looks like pack sales are definitely much higher than before when the SPS airdrop was still ongoing. Lots of players are probably buying these packs up with DEC earned from playing the game daily 🤑.

Here's the current count (as of the moment I'm writing this post) of the number of packs sold, and we're 130k away from the 10 million mark! Which also means everyone has a chance to get in now and grab more packs for the remaining airdrops! 😜

My fingers are crossed! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hopefully I'll get some amazing luck for the next round! 🍀🍀🍀
