Hello all Hivers and football lovers and fans!
Today I watched all the World Cup matches as it was an off day for me and I stayed at home, but the one I was looking forward to most was without a shadow of a doubt tonight's match: Portugal Vs Uruguay.
I make no secret of the fact that I have a soft spot for Uruguay, a soft spot for the Garra Charrua.. A weakness that extends, however, to all of South America, which in my opinion is among the best footballing landscapes in the world, without a shadow of a doubt.
It seemed to be decided by the usual CR7, the man of records. But the extra man for the Portuguese was definitely Bruno Fernandes.
Curious event not captured by the cameras: a pitch invader entered the scene holding a flag of the LGBTQ+ community and wearing a T-shirt with the words 'Save Ukraine'.
The invader is Italian and is a well-known influencer and already known for various field invasions, Mario Ferri aka Il Falco.
A Brazil without its star, Neymar. He does not particularly shine, although Vinicius Junior sows panic and even scores a goal that will later be cancelled out.
Goal of the lead signed by an extraordinary player like Casemiro. I honestly expected more from the Brazilian national team, the home of football, the home of Joga Bonito.
But it showed itself to be cohesive and compact and made two wins out of two matches played.
Pyrotechnic match between South Korea and Ghana. On one side shines the star of Mohammed Kudus, on the other that of Cho gue-sung.
Ghana ahead 2:0 then remounted by South Korea at 2:2. However, Cho Gue-Sung's double was useless, as Kudus scored the 2:3 goal and gave his national team three golden points.
Big disappointment of the World Cup so far is Totthenam star Heung-Min Son.
Another pyrotechnic match of the day: Cameroon Vs Serbia.
Serbia led the match 1:3, dragged by an amazing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (in Italy we call him the Sergeant).
The Indomitable Lions, however, did not give up at all and recovered a match that seemed lost.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting stepped up to the plate and gave his team a draw.

Oggi ho visto tutte le partite dei mondiali visto che è stato un giorno off per me e sono rimasto a casa, ma quella che aspettavo di più in assoluto era senza ombra di dubbio la partita di questa sera: Portogallo Vs Uruguay.
Non nascondo che ho un debole per l'Uruguay, un debole per la Garra Charrua.. Un debole che si estende però a tutto il Sud America che secondo me è tra i migliori panorami calcistici a livello mondiale, senza ombra di dubbio.
Sembrava la stesse decidendo il solito CR7, l'uomo dei record. Ma l'uomo in più per i portoghesi è sicuramente Bruno Fernandes.
Curioso avvenimento poco ripreso dalle telecamere: un invasore di campo entra in scena con in mano una bandiera della comunità LGBTQ+ e con una maglietta con scritto "Save Ukraine".
L'invasore è italiano ed è un noto influencer e già conosciuto per varie invasioni di campo, Mario Ferri aka Il Falco.
Un brasile privo della sua Stella, Neymar. Non brilla particolarmente, anche se Vinicius Junior semina il panico e segna anche una rete che verrà poi annullata.
Gol del vantaggio firmato da un giocatore straordinario come Casemiro. Onestamente mi aspettavo qualcosa in più dalla nazionale Brasiliana, la patria del Football, la patria del Joga Bonito.
Ma si dimostra coesa e compatta e fa due vittorie su due partite giocate.
Match pirotecnico quella tra Corea Del Sud e Ghana. Da una parte brilla la stella di Mohammed Kudus, dall'altra quella di Cho gue-sung.
Ghana avanti 2 a 0 poi rimontato dalla Corea del Sud sul 2 a 2. Inutile però la doppietta di Cho Gue-Sung, visto che Kudus firma il gol del 2 a 3 e regala tre punti d'oro alla sua nazionale.
Grande delusione del mondiale fino ad ora è la stella del Totthenam Heung-Min Son.
Altro Match pirotecnico della giornata: Camerun Vs Serbia.
La Serbia arriva a condurre il match per 1 a 3 trascinata da uno strepitoso Sergej Milinkovic-Savic ( in Italia lo chiamiamo il Sergente).
I Leoni Indomabili però non si arrendono assolutamente e rimontano un match che sembrava perso.
Sale in cattedra Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting e regala un pareggio ai suoi.
