One thing we have to know is what is the function of the coil actually for? so the function of the coil is to increase the electric voltage from the battery, CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) or ECM (Engine Control Module) which is then passed to the spark plugs, to generate power to the engine.

Okay, back again to the case that happened to my customer, here I get a problem, which is that it lies in the coil that does not match the type of motorbike and also the coil is not an original product.

Maybe friends who are here are wondering whether the coil can be repaired, for a broken coil that cannot be repaired, a damaged coil must be replaced with a new one.

in my current case, apart from the non-original type coil, the coil used does not match the type of motorbike, the coil that I found on this motorbike is a coil for the 4tak manual engine type, while the motor used is an automatic type engine, just imagine what happens to the motor.

How to distinguish genuine parts, from fake ones.

Usually for certain products the price offered is cheaper, the item has the exact same shape as the original, don't be tempted by a cheap price it could be a fake product, maybe you are lucky with a low price, but the usage time and quality will not be the same as the original.
And for sure the price of genuine spare parts is more expensive than counterfeit parts, but we also have to remember the quality and safety factors, long use and driving comfort are the main things.

One more thing we have to know is that counterfeit products are easy to get and sell freely, and genuine ones, of course, we have to buy at certain dealers or distributors that are guaranteed to be authentic from the factory.
