Saludos muchachos de esta comunidad espero que se encuentren bien, yo bueno aquí voy poco a poco con pasos firmes. Cómo aún no puedo trabajar por la cuestión mi recuperación y tengo que esperar unos meses más , lo que si puedo hacer es ir al taller a ver qué están haciendo los muchachos que trabajan contigo ; de hecho cuando fui los muchachos estaban armando un motor de un Chevrolet Optra. Cómo todos aca en mi país saben que hacer ese tipo de trabajo a ese carro en específico es una lotería por la mala calidad de repuestos y si no se hace como debe ser las consecuencias son muy malas ya que es algo delicado digo yo en mi experiencia, claro los repuestos se consiguen y económicos pero no es la idea estar desarmando a cada rato.

Cuando llegue al taller ya el motor estaba armado solo le faltaba la correa de distribución de tiempo y otros accesorios para poder montarlo y prender , en este tipo de motor hay que ser bien cuidadoso al colocar la correa de tiempo ya que si por alguna razón no queda bien colocada se puede romper o como no queda bien sincronizadas las levas pudiera doblar las válvulas y lo malo es que las dobla casi todas por no decir todas en dos prendidas del motor.

Son pocas fotos pues no llegue a tiempo cuando se estaba armado el motor pero si se que le colocaron todos los repuestos nuevos menos el cigüeñal que fue rectificado. Este carro es bueno hablando del confort que tiene y su diseño, lastima que tiene una mala fama con respecto a su motor, yo digo que lo peor que tiene es el tensor de la correa de tiempo ya que no es fijo si no que constantemente se mueve , y si se acelera repentinamente el tensor también lo hace y eso hace que la correa sufra, eso lo digo en mi perspectiva y experiencia como mecánico.

En lo que tenga la oportunidad de hacer nuevamente un motor de este topo de vehículo les voy a mostrar paso por paso todo lo que se le hace; espero les guste.

As I am still unable to work due to my recovery and have to wait a few more months, what I can do is go to the workshop to see what the guys who work with you are doing. In fact, when I went, the guys were building an engine for a Chevrolet Optra. As everyone here in my country knows, doing that kind of work on that specific car is a gamble because of the poor quality of the spare parts, and if it's not done properly, the consequences are very bad, since it's a delicate job, in my experience. Of course, the spare parts are available and inexpensive, but the idea is not to be taking it apart all the time.

When I arrived at the workshop, the engine was already assembled; all that was missing was the timing belt and other accessories to be able to mount it and start it up. With this type of engine, you have to be very careful when installing the timing belt because if for some reason it is not positioned correctly, it can break or, as it is not properly synchronized, the cams could bend the valves. The bad thing is that it bends almost all of them, if not all of them, in two engine starts.

There are only a few photos because I didn't arrive in time when the engine was being assembled, but I know that they installed all new parts except for the crankshaft, which was reconditioned. This car is good in terms of comfort and design, but it's a shame that it has a bad reputation when it comes to its engine. I would say that the worst thing about it is the timing belt tensioner, as it is not fixed but constantly moves, and if you accelerate suddenly, the tensioner does too, which causes the belt to suffer. I say this from my perspective and experience as a mechanic.
