Greetings friends of the Hive Motors community, here Ferbu with a project that we did recently.
Un amigo nos trajo su Toyota 4runner para un servicio de pintura general.
A friend brought his Toyota 4runner to us for a general paint service.
La camioneta la trajeron fue para un servicio de cristalizado 3M y pulitura pero como tenía la pintura muy quemada el cliente desidio volver a pintar , así que procedí a desayunar.
The truck was brought in for a 3M crystallizing and polishing service but since the paint was badly burned the customer decided to repaint, so I proceeded to have breakfast.
Ya una ves desarmada la camioneta se empezó a trabajar, se detallo muy bien para ver en qué zonas había que taquiar y preparar con masilla plástica.
Once the truck was disassembled, we started to work, we detailed very well to see in which areas it was necessary to block and prepare with plastic putty.
Ahora se empezó a empapelar o forrar los vidrios para aplicar el fondo.
Now we have started to paper or line the glass to apply the background.
Ahora se le hecha una base de pintura para corregir todas las imperfecciones o los detalles que le quedan.
Now a base coat of paint is applied to correct any remaining imperfections or details.
Ahora se empieza a aplicar el trasparente (poliuretano), para empezar a pulir y darle brillo.
Now start to apply the transparent (polyurethane), to begin to polish and shine.
También se le pintaron los rines.
The rims were also painted.
Y los focos se pulieron también.
And the spotlights were polished as well.
Después de la pulitura se empieza a ensamblar.
After polishing, assembly begins.
Y así quedó la Toyota 4runner después del servicio general de pintura y pulitura.
And this is what the Toyota 4runner looked like after the general paint and polishing service.
Ahora aquí el resultado final.
Now here is the final result.
