Repair: glass doesn't come down in the middle of a heat wave [ENG/SPA]

Some time ago the car has been presenting a fault that I can not correct, in fact I wrote a post about it in my attempts to diagnose why it is consuming gasoline faster, going from a yield of 12 km per liter to 8 km per liter. At the time I thought it was the Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor wires but I have checked them over and over and everything seems fine.

Reparación: el vidrio no baja en medio de una ola de calor

Hace algún tiempo el carro viene presentando una falla que no puedo corregir, de hecho escribí una publicación al respecto en mis intentos por diagnosticar el porque esta consumiendo mas rapido la gasolina, pasando de un rendimiento de 12 km por litro a 8 km por litro. En aquel entonces pensé que eran los cables del Sensor de Presión Absoluta del Múltiple de admisión pero los he revisado una y otra vez y todo parece bien.

This failure has me ruined with the fuel cost, for me is not an option to use the air conditioning, the gas mileage decreases much more, then I must drive with the windows always open, but as the salty has no free day, the mechanism of the glass on my side began to fail to the point that stayed up and did not work more.

Esta falla me tiene arruinado con el gasto en combustible, para mi no es una opción utilizar el aire acondicionado, el rendimiento de gasolina decae mucho mas, entonces debo manejar con las ventanas abiertas siempre, pero como el salado no tiene dia libre, el mecanismo del vidrio de mi lado comenzó a fallar hasta el punto que se quedó arriba y no funciono mas.

No podía creerlo con el calor que ha hecho estos días, me toco revisar cual era el motivo. Pensé que como en ocasiones anteriores he tenido problemas con los elevavidrio, con el engranaje interno del motor es plástico, algunos de sus dientes se rompen, pero cuando es así igualmente funciona porque no deja de engranar en los dientes que le quedan.

I thought that the mechanism's wire was broken, the shot gave me a headache because if it was the case I would have to buy the new mechanism because the wire in the past I have not been able to get it alone. Penque que la guaya del mecanismo se rompió, del tiro me dio dolor de cabeza porque si era el caso tendría que comprar el mecanismo nuevo porque la guaya en el pasado no le he conseguido sola. Pero al quitar el tapa puerta, coloque el teléfono por dentro y todo se veía bien, entonces queda pendiente revisar la parte eléctrica.

I went through the fuse box that remains in the engine and checked the fuses and related relays and all were fine, I remembered that inside the dashboard I have another fuse box. Everything points to it being something electrical because I do not hear the engine running, I thought it was burned or some protection was triggered, because the day before it rained a lot and as the glass brushes are not very good water enters the door.

Pase por la fusilera que queda en el motor y revise los fusibles y relés relacionados y todos estaba bien, recordé que dentro en el tablero tengo otra fusilera. Todo apunta a que es algo eléctrico porque no escucho el motor accionar, pensé que se quemo o algo de protección se disparó, porque el día anterior llovió mucho y como los cepillos de los vidrios no están muy buenos entra agua en la puerta.

After identifying which is the fuse that corresponds to the motor of this door, when I removed it, which is not easy for me because of the little space for my hand, it actually tripped, I only had to replace it and it started working again. This gave me a lot of relief that it was nothing serious because I still have more important things to repair that are pending because of the expense they represent.

Tras identificar cual es el fusible que corresponde a el motor de esta puerta, al retirarlo, cosa que no es fácil para mi por el poco espacio para mi mano, efectivamente se disparó, solo quedo reemplazarlo y comenzó a funcionar de nuevo. Esto me dio mucho alivio que no fuera nada grave porque aun tengo cosas mas importantes por reparar que están pendientes por el gasto que representan.
