10. David Beckham

David Beckham joined the LA Galaxy in 2007 and he changed the league forever. His arrival helped transform Major League Soccer, and it led to the newly introduced Designated Player rule.

Also known as the "Beckham rule", the Designated Player rule allowed teams to compete in the worldwide soccer market for star players, as teams were now allowed to have three players salaries sitting outside a teams salary cap.

Beckham appeared in 98 Major League Soccer games and scored 18 goals. He was one of the best of all time at delivering set pieces, he won two MLS Cups, and was named best MLS player twice.

Attacking midfielder Carlos Valderrama has one of the greatest hairdos ever, and is one of the best MLS players of all time. He had a total of 114 assists in 177 matches. Valderrama’s 26 assists in the 2000 season is the most assists in a single season. It’s a record considered to be one of the most unbeatable in the MLS.

7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

In 2018 Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his debut as a substitute in the first ever El Trafico derby, one of the biggest MLS rivalries. Ibrahimovic scored twice, a 45-yard goal of the season, and a stoppage time header, helping the Galaxy come from three goals down to beat LAFC 4-3.

Despite joining Major League Soccer well into his late 30's, Ibrahimovic still goes down as one of the best MLS players of all time, finishing with an impressive 53 goals in 58 games before joining AC Milan.

With TFC reportedly signing Insigne, where does this rank for all-time ambitious signings by MLS clubs?

I think that Landon Donovan could be one of the Best forwards in the European leagues, but I consider that he is the best of his country because of the legacy he gave some years ago in MLS

Many eyes have been coming to the MLS of late, the league is looking promising.
Lionel Messi coming caused a huge wave in the world of football, but my best MLS player would be Zlatan, that debut was something I couldn't stop rewatching.
