You nailed it!
This is a tough list to compile because there were so many great Cowboys players over the years. Many young people include Troy Aikman on these lists but completely leave off Roger Staubach. You'd have to see him play to appreciate the fact that he could swat a fly in the end zone with a 60-yard pass. He would have won more Super Bowls had it not been for his chief rival Pittsburgh Steelers' Terry Bradshaw, the only quarterback of that era we can honestly say was a better quarterback. But the truth is, those two quarterbacks were so good that the difference between them was razor thin. And they both had good teams, offensive and defense, backing them.
The Doomsday Defense is one of the best pro football defenses in history, and every player on the team could come close to making this list. But if you're looking at the stats, Randy White is the best choice.
One might quibble with a couple of these, but overall, you've put together a stellar list.
Well, I don't really know anything about cowboys but I've been able to learn here
Nice one!
